In my darker moments I sometimes think let ‘em all come together and let's get to playing ‘cowboys and Muslims’. The problem is, IMHO, that the Islamic tide had been impossible to stop because it morphs into a multi headed, ‘good Muslim bad Muslim’- entity that befuddles Christians and any sane person looking for peaceful coexistence. Like the Communists of yore (and future) they will present not one, but many fronts, some seemingly rational and peaceful, at least in comparison the extremists... We've been falling for it for 800 years or so with a few exceptions. The only hope the West has is that Islam has, like the Ebola virus, always been a bit too aggressive and thus created the conditions for its containment.

Satan's time coming to an end? How do you figure? He's an angel so he will probably be around a l-o-n-g time, probably until the END of time. Then our good Lord will do ... something with him.

Maybe the angels Rafael, Gabriel and Michael will destroy their fellow created angel, Lucifer, AND all his minions. I hope I get to see THAT one...from a rather HIGHER and safer point of view, of course.

800 years? Islam? Runs longer & deeper than that. Methinks we’re seeing the reason the God of the Old Testament prescribed total annihilation of Israel’s enemies, down to every woman & child. I don’t like it, but with crazies like ISIS on the move, seems that is the only option for those who would survive in peaceful procreation. This heads-on-pikes culture doesn’t respond to much of anything short of carpet bombing.
