The St. George Utah Temple is the first temple where endowments for the dead were performed.
The Founding Fathers of the United States of America appeared twice to Wilford Woodruff in the St. George Utah Temple asking why their temple work had yet not been performed on their behalves. A striking painting depicting this singular event hangs in the temple lobby (That We May be Redeemed by Harold I. Hopkinson).

If you cannot or will not comply, then do not read or post on the Religion Forum at all.
Then ask yourself if Mormon fruit [still] looks pretty good, and we could use a lot more of their fruits in this country right now.

Thanks for your comment. I live with a Mormon. I don't need to look at a film by a Mormon Hater to know the truth about Mormons. The rest of us should be so good.
I found out that my prejudices were in error when I was in a jury that included a fellow whose heritage and name indicated he was from one of those MiddleEastern countries we get terrorists from. (This was before 9/11)
I had assumed that he was Muslim. It turned out, that when we jurists went to meals, we found out personal stuff about one another as we were NOT allowed to discuss the case before the trail was over and we'd received ALL the evidence that was going to be presented. (What a concept!!!)
Turns out, this fellow was JEWISH!
I had, with my broad brush, had tarred EVERYONE from a certain area with the same characteristics.
The trial was quite a teaching moment for me.
Debate over
When you can no longer present any valid evidence or make logical arguments, you make a dismissive comment (in this case an ad hominem charge) and move on.
Your lack of a response speaks volumes, and considering the eternal consequences associated with your actions, you have my pity.
Now the EVIDENCE OF A Mormon acting badly is gone;
as well as some rebuttals to his charges.
Drat!
It appears like you'll be gettin' 'em!!!
It appears like you'll be gettin' 'em!!!
Flipside:
I can ignore dealing with facts about MORMONism if I can call the deliverer of the information a HATER!!!
Don’t toss everything aside over one error of judgment.
Your error was only that of misidentifying the ethnicity of the person.
Your so call prejudices, which are really post-judicial (judgments based on experience, knowledge, and wisdom) were correct.
I accept your analysis, but I’ve found I lump a LOT of things together way too much, when they should be looked at a bit closer.
