Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! Wouldn’t it be grand if processions took place in every town in America?

For what purpose: worshipping a wafer or proclaiming the saving grace of Jesus Christ?
To: mlizzy; NYer
How beautiful! If only more faithful Christians, whether Catholic or Protestant would boldly follow suit!

Why don’t you just count your sour grapes before they hatch.

I am not a Catholic but I think they did a wonderful, brave, thing.
God Bless them. I wish all of us Christians were as demonstrative about our faith.

Might have a hard time getting those sabers past the metal detectors though. :)

I know you are kidding, but Knights of Columbus are defenders of the faith and always accompany a Bishop in ceremonial events. Their uniforms are from other times. They have not been updated. They raise a lot of money for different groups at the Church.

We worship Christ and we proclaim Him. These two actions are not just compatible, they are indivisible.

LOL! Thanks for the chuckle. I’ll have to remember that.

publicly adored the Blessed Sacrament There is no substitute for Christ and the sacrifice He made on the cross. We are justified by faith and not by works, so that no man can boast.

Exactly! I'm so proud and happy to see the Catholic Church standing up and showing force. I agree that if only other religious denominations, Christians, Jews, Protestants, etc., would join forces and do the same. Most important is that the Catholic Church must not fall into the doctrine of liberalism in any form. It's been a slippery slope of late with some of the Pope's leftist commentary, but I pray that a wonderful, good man like John Paul II will one day be Pope..a very special, holy man, who believed in freedom and liberty and worked very hard toward those goals.

Don’t stalk people, and don’t start pinging them to threads to continue some personal grudge you have.
