Its been on again, off again for a controversial anti-Christian Facebook page at the center of a heated First Amendment debate. Just days after a pro-life group claimed victory in having the Virgin Mary Shouldve Aborted page removed for violating Facebooks standards, it is once again active.
The contentious page, which pokes fun at Christian theology and organized religion, was apparently removed Friday following new-found complaints from the leader of Project Wildwire, a pro-life group that opposes Planned Parenthood.
Cary Bogue, the organizations CEO, took credit for the removal in a press release, noting that he finds the Virgin Mary page offensive and a violation of Facebooks standards.

But the Virgin Mary page is back once again and its apparently the second time that it has been removed and subsequently reinstated; it was first taken offline last year after Bogue waged his initial campaign against it, he claims.
If this is not the exact definition of hate speech directed at a religion, I am not sure what is?, he added in the press release. We all know Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg is an avowed atheist, pro-abortion and a strong advocate for the LGBT, but that does not excuse him from continuing to allow this page to remain.

Started by gays?
Shameful, obscene, and typical of liberals.
Between this and Black Masses in Boston, can we think of any MORE ways of flipping the bird to the Catholic Church?
I’m not for banning it.
I like to know who the jerks in society are.
So, it would be OK to put up a Facebook page that says Mohammed’s mother should have aborted too, right? Right?!
Of Course, give them time. It’s OK, the Church will endure.
Yeah, but try creating a page on Facebook called Harvey Milk should’ve been aborted. Or Barack Obama. Or Mohammed. Those would certainly be denied.
It’s pretty clear what we all feel about Islam on here, but I would not be working triple-overtime thinking of new daily ways to go and take a p**s on their religion.
These people are truly, truly sick.
Kind of like when some one who has one of those dumb coexist bumper stickers, get carjacked. I just chuckle and move on!
Can others have an FB page similar, targeted at Allah or Abraham?
Every time Obama screws up just put up a picture of Obamas mother looking at her son the President talking about his screw up and she is saying “I should have aborted”.
How about a, “Mark Zuckerburg’s mom should have aborted,” page?
You can bet that this page will remain.
Any and all hate pages directed against normal people will stay.
But say “towelhed” and they delete it.
Christians need to begin paying attention to whom they give their money to. Whether it's a movie like Noah, or a website like Facebook, we are supporting people that will hand us over to authorities in the last days. If politicians couldn't get millions from atheists, maybe we would stop electing atheists. I had a difficult time with my wife and daughter watching Oprah until she made an anti Christian remark right on her show. If you look at the money these people generate, it has to come from Christians as there are more of us than atheists. The problem is the "lukewarm" Christians that are in name only. When the thought police show up in swat gear, will they take the mark or stand on conviction? I'll bet if about 100,000 Christians fell off Facebook in about a week, Zuckerberg would do the "right thing". I'm sure there are that many churches with Facebook pages.
If you keep your Facebook page after this, have you already "taken the mark"? If you cringe thinking about trying to live without knowing when your neighbor's dog gets fixed, do you have an idol? If you can't have a conversation without looking down at your phone every 2 minutes, do you have an addiction? Jesus stated that if you don't hate your father, mother, daughter, and son, you have no part with Him. Of course He didn't mean for you to hate them, He was just stating that you MUST put Him first. Is it more important for you to have a Facebook page or commune with God, because I'm pretty sure a choice has been placed in front of you.
That was my test for them....
apply the parallel Islam insult and see if they’re OK with it.
It’s not that this page exists.
It’s that this page is allowed to exist while others are not.
All because of whom they offend.
