What's this guy talking about? Pope Benedict has done some wonderful things in his short tenure. Of course he never had a chance with the liberal media; no faithful Catholic expected anything different. The Pope stood against almost everything the liberal media in the US, and around the world, supports. They continually looked for anything to take him down, but they were not successful.

I'm sure they won't like his successor any more than they liked him, if the new Pope is true to the teachings of Jesus in general, and Catholic doctrine in particular.

What a pantload. He was true to his calling, not to the world stage. I much preferred this Pope to the previous one.

From the pile it higher and deeper crowd, this article is one of the biggest piles of BS I have ever read.

In my parish, Pope Benedict is greatly admired as was Pope John Paul. Both have entirely different personalities and talents, Benedict being the greatest Christian theologian in the world.

>Journalism is dead in this country.<

.
A newspaper in Europe is already saying that the RCC needs a pope with the characteristics of Obama and publicly hopes that the next pope comes from Africa.

As mentioned, I have one of his “Jesus” books. That series of books became best sellers. I remember I have read somewhere that the one about Jesus’s infancy/childhood would be his last book written. That I should have taken as a “hint”.

The fox news reporter/writer demonstrates why people of any religion should turn off the secular news reporting about their religion and about the affairs of their religious institutions.

Secular reporters should save their reporting about religious leaders and religious institutions for those times when the events of either one spill into secular life.

Well today’s news is not just historic but very big indeed.

Fox News has Father Johnathan Morris who does an excellent job reporting in regards to the the RC Church.
