Keep up the good work, Mormonism must be exposed, it is an eternal issue.
My family member left FR because they became disgusted at the hostility towards people exposing Mormonism, they said don’t start posting again - I should have listened.
It appears there are some people so consumed with fear they are not capable of seeing the eternal.
Because the default settings of this website insist upon making this regrettable forum visible to me and anyone else who visits FR.

Here is MHGinTN, commenting on Sept. 24, 2007 in a RELIGION thread on a NON-Romney thread...in fact, almost hijacking colorcountry's thread in a Romneyfied direction (yours was only the SECOND post of the thread)...as Colorcountry's comment in post #1 neither mentioned Romney...nor did the thread content itself: "Can have people intimately familiar with the Mormonism heresies telling others the truth now can they! We’ve seen here at FR how the dissembling and deceit runs deep within Mormonism. It will be too easy for the dnc goons to destroy Romney over Mormonism, so the Pubbies cannot afford to nominate that man.

2. I don't even have to go back to '07 to uncover one of these...Here is MHG on Feb. 3, 2012 stating on a RELIGION thread (post #7) stating: Milt will never be the President. If the establishment pubbies elect the two-faced abortionist, the media will make the LDS porpaganda ads (’And I’m A Mormon’) trying to make MormonISM attractive look like the greatest campaign of evil ever devised. And all the media whoredom need do is keep hammering on the actual things taught in that faux-christianity religion. ... 3. Back in December 2007...
On December 6 2007...MHG claimed it wasn't simply us placing the focus more on Mormonism (than his liberal history)...but Mitt Romney himself! Now indeed this last one was in the News-Activism section...but still...twas one of those common intersection threads ("faith" stuff being talked about on news section; and "politics" stuff being discussed in the religion forum...because, the world isn't as neatly "compartmentalized" as MHG would now like to dictate to everybody).
That was...until Romney became the last political Messiah-hope to beat Obama...
And, MHG decided 'twas better to oppose Obama and sell out his past statements about Romney & Mormonism.
Now, if MHG lived in a genuine swing state...I really couldn't blame him for voting for Romney.
But he's not. He lives in Tennessee. There AIN'T NO WAY Obama will take Tennessee...
If MHG and EVERY OTHER TN FReeper voted for Virgil Goode, Romney wouldn't miss their votes for one sec...he'd roll onto to an easy win over Obama...

People have to do what they have to do. When I was growing up, some of my friends were recent immigres from the Ukraine and Cuba. They gave everything to get to a country that respects freedom and liberty. I will do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING I can to make sure that Obama is NOT a second termer. That is not a compromise of my principles.

Gosh the general question of can we have a mormon as president (based solely on the question faith——it was a faith based question that you posed) sure turned into a political discussion with some of the responses. You asked a question based on religion and I assumed you wanted comments and dialog. You did not respond in kind.

What does stand out to me is that apparently some Christians cannot live and let live. I don’t see any Mormons on here criticizing Christian beliefs, so afford them the same courtesy they afford you.
If that’s your ‘discernment’ you might want to check what spirit is within you. I’ve been openly debating and opposing the ISM for a decade AT FREEREPUBLIC. You really should learn when to keep your trap shut, but that is grist for another mill ...
