"Go and sin no more"...being born again and real salvation means no more sinning.

There is a power and technique that the church has missed. The quiet stillness where real salvation is gifted to us effortlessly is real prayer. Please find it so we can all fight for our nation and right much more effectively!

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. - 1John1:7-8 KJV

Furthermore, the Apostle Paul accurately describes the condition of a man still living in his sins but struggling with them in Romans Chapter 7, however, Romans Chapter 8 describes the condition of a man who has repented and believed the gospel unto salvation. Chapter 8 of Romans clearly states that a man who has received God's spirit no longer walks after the flesh(sin).

Romans 8:1-16

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.

6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.

7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Ummm....so according to your understanding of salvation, the Apostle Paul was not saved.

Otherwise how do you explain Romans 7:15?

Otherwise how do you explain Romans 7:15?

Quite simply, Romans Chapter 7 describes the plight and condition of a man becoming aware of his sinfulness as God seeds his life and then earnestly struggling against that sin with all his might, with the emphasis on his human might, until he grows weary and understands that he cannot change any of the sinfulness of his life that he is undone and he needs a savior.

In order to truly understand in context Romans Chapter 7, you have to read Romans chapter 8:1-16 as those scripture verses show that this same man now turns to Christ as his Savior and believes the Gospel and submits to Gods plan of salvation. As Romans Chapter 8 shows, that man who was once struggling with his sin is now free of that struggle because the Grace of God has no taken over and control of his life and God seals this Change of the heart of this sinner with a witness of his Holy Spirit to his spirit that he is a child of God.

This is the real power of the Gospel, both the forgiveness and the power to sin no more as long as we remain by faith trusting in Jesus Christ. Without this, our Christianity is nothing more than a mere religion no better than any other religion. With this, the promise contained in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is attained, the salvation of men's soul.

“What John means is obviously ALL have sinned and are in need of being saved. Sin is in us, but once the born agian experience happens, that is it!”

Jesus to a Protestant messenger

April 1, 2012

For too many have listened to the lies told by the false shepherds and prophets. They speak of how you each are already cleansed and adorned in righteousness simply by your belief on My name. These are all lies, My people. For does not My word say that he who does righteousness is righteous? Yes, My people, you are made righteous by your faith in Me, but it is fulfilled by your obedience to My voice. It IS NOT imputed to you by a one-time confession of My name.

Yes I do know someone...more than one, people that do not sin. It is actually easy, once you are really born again. The very nature of being born again is to no longer have the compulsion to sin. Anything short of that is diminishing the very real power of the holy spirit and is a mistake!

The Apostles could have learned from your friends...

So let's see...We can believe you or the fella on the video, or, we can believe the Apostle John...

1Jn 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Guess who I am going to go with...

Really??? I sure would like to know how they can stop coveting a new house, a car, a job promotion, etc. I find that if I'm really truthful with myself, I'm constantly sinning and need the Savior to help guide me past the evil intents of my heart.

Perhaps our Lord Jesus told people to go and sin no more simply to show an expression of graditude to God who redeemed us and pray not to sin to recognize our dependence on Christ.

No, John means what he said...Paul already told us that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God...We already knew that...

Romans 7 has a little bit to say about it...As well as the rest of the NT...

Sorry...but that is one big excuse. You guys have no idea, it seems, how easy it is to no longer sin once all of the bad spirits are vacated by means of salvation. It actually is not possible to sin once God seals you into his family. You do not know the real power of the spirit.

Actually once you really love God more than anything in life, it is natural to not covet anything.

It IS NOT imputed to you by a one-time confession of My name.

It IS imputed and not just by a confession, but the confession is the result of a change of heart...The confession while public or private, is all it takes...

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Now there's some beautiful scripture...

Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Rom 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Rom 4:23 Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
Rom 4:24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Rom 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

You are complelety misreading your bible.

I don't think so...

And Jesus was not joking when he told Mary to go and sin no more.

And that's very good advice but there is no indication one way or another that the woman heeded the advice...
