Yes. This Conversation tells a lot of what was happening @ Reagan. It is lengthy enough that I really don't want to make you read the whole thing, nor do I care to take the time to count the paragraphs in order to properly ID the specific link - But you can go to the page and search 'Jim Baker Wing' in the text to arrive at the passage quoted below.

That is true... But only because the definitive concepts of Reagan Conservatism have been removed for the sake of the pragmatists - if the self-evident truths of Reagan Conservatism were adhered to, it would be easy to tell the Conservatives from the NeoCons. For the purpose of this discussion I will define NeoCons as those holding to pragmatism gone amok, yet distinct from the liberal wing of the Republicans. They tend toward a 'moderate' stance, and preach an !UP! the middle campaign strategy. They are concerned with principle as an end to a means, and the win is more important.

It is difficult to track this wing of the Republicans - It is too bad that pissant is gone from here, as he had gone to the monumental effort of compiling a huge link-base explaining the whole thing. While I am very aware of the usurpation which began with Bush the elder, it isn't something I have tracked personally.

Further Observations on
The Relationship Between
The Law and the Lord Christ

Diamond says, "GoldenEagles, if you bother to study these, they involve offering sacrifices at the only place authorized for such - at the temple, and the only temple was in Jerusalem. All the men of Israel were to assemble as commanded by God at the location specified by God on those three feasts. The Law of Moses included all the sacrifices throughout the year at the temple ... My question to you is this; do you offer those same sacrifices Golden Eagle? If not, why not, as they are codified in the the Law of Moses?"

The particulars of religion are never off topic in the religion forum. And especially where we are confronting the question as to whether we can serve the purposes of God as we are required to do, in the current election cycle, by turning our back on God. By taking a little time to run the fingers of the mind over important scriptural passages, this helps us to tune our mind into the spirit domain, from whence all illumination comes. And we need illumination in this hour.

As to your question. The Requirements of the Law, as given to the people of that day, through Moses, are given to them in a form that corresponds to the practical requirements of their life circumstances. As I understand it, they were a nomadic people. They made their living primarily through their flocks of sheep and goats and so forth. These flocks were kept moving to find appropriate grazing lands, and the people had to move with them. Moses, and God, had a great challenge in bringing a religious structure to their lives as the community was so fluid and dispersed. The passages from Exodus that you quoted represent this effort by God to meet these challenges. Ritual is extremely important to the religious life of a people, and these rituals had to be structured in such as way as to dovetail with their life circumstances. All of their sacrifices were given in the "currency" which they valued in their day, the life of their flocks. They did not have money as we know it.

All that was required by God of these people, are required of us today, but we meet those requirements according to the circumstances of the culture that we live in. It is part of the process of establishing rituals that give expression to our Love for God and our Devotion to his Purposes. We can't conform to the letter of the law, because the letter of the law does not conform to our circumstances, but we can and we are required to conform to the spirit of the law.

"three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me" In America, Christians do that in Christmas, Easter, and the Fourth of July.

"No one is to appear before me empty-handed." Have your wallet with you, and please put something in the collection plate. (tithing) And so forth.

In every case where Moses has delineated God's Law, where the law is expressed in a manner that reflected a certain cultural fabric, because the circumstances of our society are so different, we must discern what the spirit of the law is looking for, and obey the spirit. The requirement to obey and to fulfill the law is always before us. The law is life. All disease is the return current of disobedience before the law. All people are required to process the return current of their own folly in this regard, in times and places that the Law determines.

Jesus Christ spoke to this, and his statement should be branded on our forehead to constantly remind us of it:

"For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." (Matthew 5:18)

And that statement should be remembered along with its companion:

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil."(Matthew 5:17)

I explained above how Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the law. First we study to show ourselves approved unto the law. We know what the law is. Then we make our effort to be obedient to it. Finding that we are not able to achieve a substantial degree of obedience,we find that we need the intercession of Christ to destroy the momentum of sin in us. We call out to Christ in the here and now, and ask for freedom from a particular sin pattern. And Christ gives us freedom. But we are tested. And we will need to call out to Christ again and again, until the Power of Christ lives in us, and his power, has overcome the sin pattern in us. When you read that scripture, this is what it means that Christ came to fulfill the law.

Whenever we are confronted with an opportunity to explain to someone why the law, by itself, while important, is not enough, that we need the Intercession of Christ as well, this is always the explanation. The Law and Christ go hand in hand. We must choose by freewill to work with Christ, so his power to fulfill the law in us can become active in us.

Jesus made it a point that we were not to make the Law of Moses into a dead letter:

Matthew 15

1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying, 2 Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.

5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; 6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

7 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, 8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Is Jesus Christ a hypocrite, who will chastise hypocrisy in these people, but look the other way as those who purport to follow him, in the same manner make a dead letter of the Law of Moses? Nay. The Law is essential.

All of this must be understood in the context of the goal that Christ set before us:

"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." (Matthew 5:48)

The Master is looking for us to become perfectly obedient to the law of God in every respect, as that is the only way a soul can be allowed back into heaven. People say, well, perfection is beyond me. But that thought makes a dead letter of the goal Christ set before us. And therefore represents the spirit of anti-christ in our world. We can become perfectly respectful, loving, and obedient before the law of God, if we understand that it is only the Power of Christ that will make that possible.

The following passage ties all of this together:

"21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."(Matthew 7:21-23)

This phrase "I never knew you" applies to those people who refused to submit their sin patterns unto Christ, for the purpose of being set free from them. In like manner, this phrase "ye that work inequity" refers to those who have chosen to live within their sin patterns, not having any desire to part from them, and not believing that Christ has the power to set them free anyway. It is Pride that blocks the individual from admitting that they need to change their ways. And pride blocks the formation of the necessary spirit of repentance in the heart. Pride is always reinforced by the dark side, the demonic realm, it is a power that has opposed, from the very foundation of the world, the movement of the Children of God in the direction of salvation.

The homosexual movement is composed of a veritable army of fallen souls who fit solidly into this category of rebellion against God and Christ, who refuse to hold out their hand for help, even as they are being dragged deeper and deeper into the bottomless pit.

The parable of the wedding garment was given to reinforce this teaching.

11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment: 12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. 13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 14 For many are called, but few are chosen. (Matthew 22:11-12)

The wedding garment is a metaphor for a garment of Light, that surrounds the soul, composed of freewill decisions to surrender sin patterns, and to have those patterns replaced by the Power of Christ, which Jesus Christ is empowered to give to us, even as THE dispenser of eagle wings. The soul must be wearing this garment as a prerequisite for its re-entry into the domain of heaven, and its eternal life.

This phrase, "Many are called, but few are chosen,", refers to the fact that the requirement of perfection is before all people, in every culture, and God calls all people to perfection, because he wants to bring all of them home to their original divine estate. But only a relative few, in a given time and generation, will hear this call, understand it, and understand how to act upon it. These few bring into embodiment a more tangible sense of the reality of heaven, they want to return there, but they know that sin cannot live in the heaven world, so they are ready to work with Jesus Christ to be set free from their sin patterns, all of them, to establish that wedding garment, which alone will allow them to reenter the heaven world at the end of this life.

To sum up, the following reality check was given to us by the Lord Christ, to help us be clear in our minds, as to the progress we have made towards the goal of weaving the aforementioned wedding garment, a glowing consciousness of light, transferred to us by the Master Jesus Christ, of loving respect and obedience before God's Law in every particular, which is the prerequisite unto salvation:

Verily, Verily, I say unto you, he that beleiveth on me, the works that I do, shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my father. (John 14:12)

Indeed, there it is. This forcefield of Light, the wedding garment of loving and respectful obedience unto the Law of God, as it has been articulated by all the Prophets, into which the Lord Jesus Christ would restore us, has all of these powers inherent in it. This is our reference point for determining whether our belief structures are correct, or contain flaws that must be removed.

Make no mistake, whenever Jesus Christ referred to the benefits that accrue to the person who believes in him, and he did that often, he always had in his mind a very specific set of criteria for what it means to "believe." We must find that belief structure in his teaching, and we must integrate that belief structure into our lives. If we do that successfully, and we are not led a astray by false doctrines, even the commandments of men, we will be able to fulfill the promise give by the Lord Christ in John 14:12.

Finally, as I noted before, if the statements of an Apostle cause a person to create a conclusion in their mind, which would make a dead letter of the clear Teaching of the Lord Christ, as he himself expressed it, then we know that the interpretation is incorrect. All interpretations must harmonize with ALL the words that came out of the mouth of Jesus Christ.

I appreciate all the good words said by Sarah Palin about Newt Gingrich. And they were many.

The core of Newt Gingrich's career, was congruent and conjunct with the core of Ronald Reagan's career. He served the Reagan cause in an admirable manner. Newt Gingrich has a deep reservoir of experience serving in the U.S. Congress, from the ranks and eventually to the leadership, during those years. His heart and Reagan's heart were one on the core challenge of stopping the advance of the forces of World Communism in those years. Newt Gingrich stood on the front lines of that battle. He has proved time and time again that he has a heart that can grasp the problems that America faces. This is especially exemplified by the college courses he taught, during those years, on the Renewal of American Civilization. He is the nearest thing to the candidate described by Roamer_1 above, that embodies the Reaganesque capacity to harmonize the three distinct segments of the conservative coalition. He has this potential, but it is not yet realized.

Newt Gingrich has no ethics issues. When he became speaker, the Democrats determined to bring him down, in the same way their Speaker Jim Wright was brought down. Though they had nothing to work with there. They had to fabricate a zillion falsehoods, and forced an ethics investigation to resolve them. How many of the charges were found to be valid? ZERO. That is a fact.

All the charges the Democrats leveled had to do with the course Newt Gingrich was teaching on the Renewal of American Civilization. They charged that this course was not tax extempt because it was created for the purpose of political partisan gain. These charges were all found to be baseless. For those who knew the situation, here was a warrior in Reagan's army that took several dozen poison arrows to the heart, and remained standing. But they did manage to snag his heel on what I would characterize as a procedural issue, an error made in the process of defending himself, where he signed a letter to the ethics committee drafted by his attorney that had a falsehood in it. They focused on that, blew that all out of proportion, and were able to walk away with a piece of raw meat in their mouths.

To magnify this into such a large mountain of condemnation, that completely blocks out the Light that would otherwise bear witness to the overwhelming amount of good that Newt Gingrich accomplished, bringing about a majority in the U.S. Congress of the Republicans for the first time in 40 years, bears witness to the pathological thirst the forces of darkness have in the destruction of any politician who carries a lamp of brightness unto the people.

That Romney attacked Newt Gingrich on this, proves that Romney has a heart of absolute darkness, a heart of lies, and falsehoods, with no capacity to recognize a hero of the conservative movement, and make no mistake about it. Newt was a bonafide, battle scarred, hero of the conservative movement in those days.

I believe that Newt Gingrich can rise again and should rise again. He has a lot to offer America. His heart is like a treasure chest in that regard, that could overflow with gold and jewels of every kind, unlike the clogged up toilet that Romney represents, which has never seen a visit by the rotorooter man.

Make no mistake. When Jesus Christ referred to that generation of vipers, his all-seeing eye had Mitt Romney directly in front of him. Whited sepulcher to boot full of dead men's bones.

In engineerng his comeback, perhaps Newt Gingrich will work behind the scenes to harmonize his return with Rick Santorum at his side. That would be a good idea. If they are carrying the right banner when they emerge back on the scene, the conservative base will enthusiastically cast aside their barf bags, gas masks and clothes pins, and rally around them. But they both have to move to higher ground. The principle of Unity under God needs to be held high in a manner that integrates perfectly with the needs of America.

Second, a step back shows the larger scene:

 

Where do these roads lead? The heart knows. And our eyes and ears bear witness, even as the culture continues to crumble. Romney is a facilitator of the crumbling culture, in the same manner as Obama, as their hearts both support abortion, the abortion of the physical unborn child, and God's purpose and plan for that child, and the abortion of the soul (enslaved to homosexuality), and the abortion of freedom in government mandated health care, of which Romney carries this dubious distinction of being the founding father.

Nature itself testifies to the Truth: After a long and fruitful morning walk in the local national park, I drove over to the local Del Taco to get some breakfast. They have a great sausage, egg, and cheese muffin sandwich that competes with, is better than, and less expensive than McDonald's breakfast McMuffin. On the way there, I had to stop at an intersection for a red light, and I was behind several cars already. When the light changed to green, the traffic began to move forward slowly, and this gave me an opportunity to notice a little squirrel, of the bushy tailed copper brown variety, laying in the road, just off to the left of the traffic lane. In this Southern California coastal valley, we see them all the time in their flamboyant and highly flourished romps across the landscape. Are they not one of nature's greatest adornments? I think so. But this squirrel could not have been ok, as he was not moving very much, only a little bit. He was face down, but I didn't see any blood on the road. He acted like he had been stunned by a car encounter, rather than actually run over. My heart went out to this little creature. I wanted him to wake up, and get off the road, so he would not get hurt worse. Just as I thought that, a big black crow landed near the squirrel. And the crow stabbed the squirrel with a sharp quick poke of its thick and sturdy beak. The very instant I saw that, I thought of Mitt Romney. Really. The squirrel had life in him yet and he lifted his head, and that was enough to make the crow jump away. But the crow attacked again, cruelly, with another stab of its thick pointed beak. But again, the little guy reacted and that drove the crow to back away. But I think that was all he had in him. He did not move much after that, as he was triple stunned at that point. If the crow had left him alone he might have made it to safety if had the time to gather his senses. But the Mitt Romney's of this world are always there to make sure that the easy meat will adorn their own dinner table. That is when the traffic got moving and I had to pass him by. On the way back, I looked for the squirrel, there he was, and we surely dead now. I am so sorry. But honest to God that is how I see Mitt Romney's business career.

Facts are Interesting Things

The fact is that the child that Romney so cruelly abused in prep school went on to become a mortician, licensed in three states no less, a career dealing with dead bodies.

The fact is that Romney's chosen career path was to feed off the carcasses of dying businesses.

The fact is that Romney's chosen campaign slogan happens to have been spoken by a mortician in the organized crime movie, "The Godfather".

The fact is, that in France, in 1968, the car driven by Romney was involved in a crash that killed the wife of the leader of his Mormon mission. How many Americans were involved in the death of the wife of their church leader? That is a fairly unique point on anyone's resume. God did not lift a finger to help him or has passengers. This is a warning to all of us. If we let him drive, God will do nothing to protect us.

The theme of death is written onto the soul of Mitt Romney. It is woven into his identity. The warning signs are there.

(This fits Romney like a glove. Those who follow him, will follow him down that path, like the leadership of NRLC, which knows Romney is NOT pro-life, but who will tell the lie that he is pro-life thinking they will advance their cause thereby. Check out the veritable parade they are creating of those who are so willing to throw truth to the wind thinking they can somehow make progress in God's work thereby. I do not judge them. If they had a bright light to lead them, I am sure they would prefer that. As it stands, if this Romney candidacy persists much longer all those who are pro-life will require nasal surgery to reopen their nostrils.)

For the Right Handed Path, I have chosen, "Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, in earth, as it is in heaven." (MT 16:26)

This is the path of truth.

Ronald Reagan's belief of America as the Shining City on the Hill was based in large part on the hope and promise of the fulfillment of this prayer. The American heart used to have faith, and more than anything else, Ronald Reagan gave voice to this faith.

Thanks for the information. Moderates usually end up in charge though (or the people who are in charge end up being called or being moderates).

You can only get things done in Washington if you have a really big majority in Congress, and those supermajorities don't last. A president may get one if the economy under the previous president was bad enough. But even if the White House has that kind of predominance in Congress it has to prioritize and aim at achieving what it thinks is most important. As you run down the agenda items you start coming across things that appeal to the party faithful but not to the rest of the country. Also, people start getting tired of politicians after a few years. The magic wears off. If the prosperity doesn't return, people throw the administration out, but if things do get better, it's back to business as usual, and people lose interest in politics. So the window to change things is small and any administration is going to concentrate on a few important things and try to do them well, rather than to advance a very broad agenda that won't get through Congress in any case.

Republicans or conservatives have five or six areas of concern, and no administration is going to be able to be effective in all the areas or satisfy all constituencies. Reagan came closest. Not to diminish his achievements, but one reason may be that conservatives were glad to have any victories at all. Bush I ran a more moderate administration and lost a lot of conservative support. You could say something like that in very broad terms about his son, but if you look more closely you can see real differences in how they did things. Bush II was able to hold the tax cutters and social conservatives his father alienated. He compromised on some things and ignored other conservative concerns, and conservatives faulted him for that, but he did go in a different direction than his father. Almost by definition, what a president does is going to be or look more moderate and pragmatic than what party or ideological stalwarts would like, but Bush father and Bush son had rather different policy mixes or flavors.

Fourth, here are another pair of passages
which properly characterize these two roads:

 

Here I have chosen the two passages from the episode wherein the Lord Jesus Christ is being tempted by the Devil.

The Devil says to Romney and Obama, and to all of us in this hour, "All these things will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me." (MT 4:9)

To worship the devil means to raise falsehood upon a pedestal to worship and serve. Republicans are doing that when they swallow the lies the Romney machine has told about Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum. Moreover, if anyone thinks Romney can win, that is certainly an example of worshiping a falsehood. If people merely hope Romney can win, that is even worse, in hoping the purveyor of lies can be crowned with power and glory.

But the Lord Christ speaks to our hearts, "Thou Shalt Worship the Lord thy God and Him Only Shalt Thou Serve" (MT 4:10)

To worship God means to reject falsehood, and to raise truth upon a pedestal to worship and to serve.

The skulls embedded in the left-hand gate, represent the death of allegiance to founding principles, the death of understanding, the death of appreciation, even the death of appreciation for truth itself, as Romney so clearly exemplifies, as well as a new found allegiance to the actuality of death, even as a national virtue, in the slaughter of the unborn. After all, the bodies of 55 million defenseless children murdered by the abortionists in this nation since 1973, are piled in a large heap outside the gates of this "Shining City on the Hill." And thousands more are thrown on the top of that heap every day. Thousands. The gates swing open, the bodies are piled on, and the gates swing closed, and everyone within the walled city, well they are fat, happy, and self-satisfied with their attainment of virtue, though they complain a lot about gas prices.

Thomas Jefferson, speaking of slavery, revealed himself to be prophet when he said, "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever." This principle is as relevant today, in relationship to the abortion holocaust, as it was relevant to the injustice of slavery in Jefferson's time. Jefferson's soul could smell the storm coming, as we can smell that storm coming today.

Romney is as pro-abortion as Obama. The only difference being that he must hide his full enthusiasm for the dead babies of the unwashed masses to get the vote of (the most gullible of the) pro-life conservatives in the Republican Party. His love for firing people at the drop of a hat, is an outer expression for his support for abortion, for his deep respect for the "convenience" factor that legal abortion represents.

Look at the statements that the NRLC has compiled to try to convince us that Romney is pro-life. There is not a single statement there that comes close to affirming the right of the child to life. Why? Because he doesn't believe it. If he believed it, he would have said it by now. Where is that statement from the 2008 presidential campaign? He's had numerous opportunities to tell us how deeply he feels about the child's right to life. Where is that statement? It does not exist. Where is that statement in this campaign? It does not exist.

No one with a pro-life heart could have said the things he said during his Massachusetts' campaign. The pro-life conscience could never allow it.

What Romney said about his support for abortion rights during his campaign for the Massachusetts Senate seat, and his campaign for the Massachusetts Governor's Seat represents the truth about who Romney is. The heart of Mitt Romney is to be found within that classic domain of secular selfishness that does not recognize that the child is Created by God, as the Declaration of Independence makes clear, and therefore has an inalienable right to life. According to the elite liberal crowd that has surrounded Romney his whole life, the woman has the right to do with her body what she wills. She's the "boss". He really relates to that. That's what he expressed, and that is the story of his life. It is a totally selfish life that was devoted only to the acquisition of personal wealth (by preying upon sick and injured businesses) that would allow him to acquire, in the footsteps of his father, personal political power. He has never lived outside of that particular circle.

To vote for a heart devoted to the death of the unborn, thinking that one will gain there-by the prize of political power for your party, is certainly to follow Romney down that left-handed path, to fall for the temptation of the devil, who plays upon the lusts of this world to entice the people to turn their back on God. In that way do Republicans accelerate the nation's movement in the direction of national suicide. Indeed, abortion is the 800LB Gorilla in the room that the nation ignores at its imminent peril.

Make no mistake. To vote for Romney would be the most blatant betrayal of God that a Republican soul could ever conceive of, and the Party (and the country) would pay the price for that betrayal in the long run. As more and more souls are corrupted in this manner, how can the hope of the American Dream ever be revived?

Thanks for the information. Moderates usually end up in charge though (or the people who are in charge end up being called or being moderates).

Your statement (and whole post) is a reasonable assessment, but I am afraid I will differ from you in tone:

I care not for either/any party anymore, and tend to see only the push/pull between liberalism and conservatism, and with little exception to consider, conservatism has had few wins, and most of those have merely been holding actions. In the mean time, liberalism continues to make great strides forward. Even though Republicans have held power in some degree for a couple of decades, liberalism has still picked up speed, and at a greater rate than the time between Roosevelt and Reagan, while Republicans were in the wilderness, to be sure. Not a single liberal stronghold has been permanently knocked down, and more are established year by year.

Due to that broad observation, and because the incontinence of liberal ideology is being even yet proclaimed to a largely unsympathetic populace, I have come to the conclusion that the successes of liberalism on the battlefield are not due to any innate goodness held therein, but rather due to a lack of opposition offered up to withstand it - Namely, that the Republicans offer little more than lip service to their conservative platform and base, while by hook or by crook, by ignorance or acquiescence, by whatever the cause, they continually step aside from the fight and let the liberal forces rumble on through.

In fact, I find it to be more insidious than that - Perhaps I have taken to wearing the chinstrap on my tinfoil hat a notch too tight, but the evidence of decades seem to prove collusion more than ignorance. Therefore, I do not see these 'moderates' as being moderate at all, and the republican/democrat parties seem to be two legs of an unrelenting liberal leviathan striding ever forward toward our very near demise.

With that mindset to the fore, I must rise up against this folly of pragmatism - It is the bane of Conservatism. Screw the moderates, I say. We had better ante up and go all in, or we will be moderated into oblivion.

Understanding Why America Lost
the Vietnam War, is Relevant to
the Decision Whether or Not to
Vote for Willard M. Romney

There are two forces at work in this world.

On the one hand, you have the forces of Darkness, of Evil, who have a relentless hatred for God, and who are committed to the enslavement of the people. Communism is on that side. As they are Atheistic to the core. And demon driven totally.

(Know yourself, and know the enemy, this is the key to winning any battle. Jesus Christ taught that the demonic realm exists, and America will continue losing to that enemy as long as it refuses to confront it, and to devise strategies to defeat it.)

On the other hand, you have the Forces of Light, of good, who have a relentless Love for God, and who are committed to the setting the people free. America is on that side, a nation built upon the Judeo-Christian heritage, a nation sponsored by God, for a purpose, of becoming both a beacon of physical freedom and spiritual freedom for the planet.

These two forces came head to head in the battle over the freedom of the South Vietnamese people. America on one side, the Communists on the other.

Populations driven by the hatred of the darkside, do not require prayer to win wars. The demonic forces have the power to project powerful momentums of hatred into those they are manipulating. They don't ask permission, they just do it.

Populations inspired by Love for the Light, DO require prayer to win wars. This is because the dark side of life is always trying to tear down the morale of the believers. To fight for liberty, you need a strong love for liberty, a love so strong, that it will overcome the downward pull of the darkside.

The Angels of God provide the support the people need to keep their inspiration level high, their determination level high. They have the power to block the darkside influence upon the people who are fighting for freedom. But these angels cannot intercede in the lives of the people without their persmission, as God is the respecter of freewill.

The demon realm is the domain of the slavemaster. They enslave people to the strong currents of hatred. And they don't ask for permission. This realm manipulates and control embodied humanity through the power of hatred.

The heavenly realm is the domain of the liberator. The Angels associated with that, have the power to set the people free from the dark side manipulation and control, giving them the will to perservere through great hardship to win battles for the victory of freedom. This is the story of the American Revolution. This is the story of World War II.

Ever since the institution of school prayer was abolished, the Angels of God were not authorized to help in this important area, they could not block the waves of hatred that drove the forces of communism relentlessly forward, and they could not block the energies of the darkside from destroying the will of the American people to fight.

This explains it, and it explains why are are losing in Afghanistan today against a third world insurgency. The Angels of God are not authorized now, since America has been completely cut off from the resources of Divine Providence, to block the relentless waves of hatred that drive the Taliban forward towards the goal of re-enslaving the Afghan people. And neither can the Angels of God intercede to shore up the morale of our forces, who stand by helplessly watching all the gains made by their brothers-in-arms being flushed down the toilet by a leadership that has totally lost hope, and begs the enemy for a negotiated settlement, even while we run for the exit. It is a really sick situation.

This explains completely why the atmosphere in Afghanistan has deteriorated in the most drastic manner ever since the American people elected Barrack Obama, and ever since the American people allowed the inclusion of homosexuals into the military, which makes of the military a propaganda machine for the spirit of rebellion against the laws of God.

At the psychological/spiritual level where wars are won and lost, the forces of freedom, who require massive amounts of Divine Intercession to drive back the darkness to win any war, have zero help in that area now.

Soldiers can still pray of course, and God will answer the prayer to the extent that the freewill of the American people will allow.

But the American people have turned a cold shoulder to God, they have made their military into a global propaganda machine that celebrates the virtue of rebellion against God. No intercession can be given that will help America win a victory in that war, or any other war.

There is no possibility that the Lord God will allow America to hold up a trophy, and say, "look we can rebel against God, and still win. We don't need God." That is never going to happen.

Therefore, America is at its weakest point now, in the nation's history. While America still has substantial power, the dark side forces note the lack of Divine Intercession. They note America's ever increasingly vulnerability to the energies of demoralization. This is a state of profound weakness that will invite more attacks upon our interests worldwide, and upon our homeland.

Remember, the hatred of the demonic realm, which is committed to destroy God's Dream for the freedom of His people, has nothing to hold it back. This is a very very dangerous time for America.

And the election of Mitt Romney, as Romney stands for Rebellion Against God, will make the Divine Providence situation worse. America has no access to Divine Providence in its national affairs today. But this could be turned around if the people turn around. The question is, how fast can this situation be turned around? In day, a week, a month, a year? The election of Mitt Romney would add an additional delay factor, prolonging America's suffering at the hands of its enemies.

But when it comes to the call to abandon ship, I must say no, that’s not for me. I am a Republican through and through and would never consider leaving the Republican Party. Willard cannot win. He is a totally empty suit in which there are no strengths to challenge Obama's strengths. And if you don't think Obama has strengths, you are kidding yourself. You are breaking the first law of war fighting, which is to know your enemy. If you do not recognize his strengths, you will not be able to devise a strategy to overcome them. Willard is the personification of a state of mindless though willful ignorance in this regard.

This is classic case study for the proposition that the energy of hatred causes dysfunction in the vision faculties of the soul.

Using Willard as one of their key soldiers in this battle against the Light, he was used by the Dark side to spew grotesque lies in the direction of the two real conservatives in this race, Gingrich and Santorum, ginning up a strong wave of hatred in their direction, effectively character assassinating them, leaving them dead on the battlefield.

The Republican Electorate, swept into this energy of hatred, became blind, by the power of this hatred, to all dimensions of truth from that point forward, and thereafter they became locked into an illusion that no one but this empty suit can beat Obama, and that there is no hope for victory against Obama but this total fraud. It is really an amazing spectacle to see, how the whole Republican Army has been effectively swept off the battlefield and into a box canyon.

In their cozy embrace of the canyon walls, scribbled all over with the graffiti of their empty war cries, which echoed loudly in the canyon land, but nowhere else, they will wake up on the morning of November 5, 2012, just like they did on November 5, 2008, sitting forlornly around the cold coals of their hopes and dreams, finding that their candidate has lost again.

For the Children of God, trampling on the principles of God in your quest for power, will never win you a victory. I hope you will finally learn that lesson this time around.

As defeat looms again, I hope you will face that lesson now, in time to turn things around, that is, turn yourself around, march out of that box canyon, and back onto the real battlefield, where the forces of Light and Darkness are locked in an epic battle for the SOUL of America.
