VOTING FOR ROMNEY
IS TO VOTE FOR THE
DEATH OF AMERICA

Allowing homosexuals to serve openly and proudly in the U.S. Military is the single worst thing that has ever happened in American history. That infamous act of the U.S. Congress and the U.S. President, has cut America off from any further access to the resources of Divine Providence. You want to be like other nations? Now you will get the chance.

Romney supported this infamy, and if elected, Romney will block any attempt to reverse it. Therefore, a vote for Romney is a vote to seal this infamy into the fabric of the American identity, and thus to seal America’s fate in self-destruction.

Make no mistake. To vote for Romney is to put your signature on the death certificate that records the Suicide of America. All of this other stuff means nothing.

Even though God’s Prophets have made this clear in their teachings recorded over the last 3,000 years, the people have clearly lost the capacity to appreciate the consequences of defiance and disobedience before God’s Law. Indeed, without vision, the people perish. It is so written. The consequences have always been self-destruction and slavery.

Many say, “Where is the hand of Divine Providence? Show it to me. Then I will believe.”

You cannot see the hand of Divine Providence with your physical eyes, but only by the eyes of the soul. Our Founding Fathers had these eyes open (check out George Washington’s First Inaugural Address) and so too the founding generations of America.

The American people today, however, have these eyelids drooping down unto sleep. They doze in living daylight, in a twilight zone of moral relativism.

If one cannot see, with the eyes of the soul, the role that Divine Providence plays in every dimension of national health, then it is impossible to appreciate this essential component of our national survival, and thus, the people can be led easily astray by the forces of darkness — who are masters at stirring up false hopes, and making false promises — to do things that compromise, and thus make evermore dysfunctional, this most important mechanism of our national survival.

Here we see exactly why it is, that without vision, the people perish. Without the vision of the soul, without these eyes that report the essential nature of the intercession of Divine Providence, the people have no way of appreciating it, no way of understanding it, and thus they know not how to keep it operating for their benefit, and are led into doing really stupid things that cause this all important spigot to be shut off.

That is where we are today. By this act of rebellion, making what God our Father has defined as an abomination in his sight, into a national virtue, and using the full force and authority of the massive machinery of the federal government to promulgate this corruption on an international scale, the spigot of Divine Providence has been cut off. Not a drop issues forth therefrom.

While we may for a time live on the largesse brought forward by the obedience of previous generations unto God’s Law, which allowed great blessings to be poured down upon America from on high, eventually these will be consumed, and we will find ourselves standing in a desert, by comparison to the oasis of liberty handed to us by our forefathers.

Now we see the value of school prayer. Now we see it. This organic institution was designed by God, and intended by God, to keep the vision of the people alive at the level of the soul. This traditional effort to keep alive within the collective soul-awareness of the nation, this all-important truth, that if a nation is to remain secure, free, and prosperous, it must have the intercession of Divine Providence in a multitude of dimensions, and that this intercession must be called forth by the people, we see now, is absolutely essential to the very survival of our nation.

School Prayer was banned nationwide by the U.S. Supreme Court 50 years ago. And thus, the deep shadow of moral relativism, promulgated by the forces of darkness, have had 50 years to attach itself, unopposed, to the American Mind.

50 years later, we find our nation teetering on the very edge of the abyss of national suicide, with one part of the population rushing madly forward, and another part holding back, but losing ground, being dragged forward and over by what appears to be an irresistible tide.

And the question is, will the Republican Party follow the crowd in their headlong rush over the edge and into the embrace of the gaping darkness? Or take a step back, and pull the whole nation thereby back from the brink?

Make no mistake. A heart that supports homosexual rights is a heart of darkness, in rebellion against the Law of God. Therefore, voting for Romney is a choice to take yet another step forward into the darkness, perhaps the last step the nation will take, finding that there is no longer any solid ground under our feet, and no way to make a retreat, a crash landing the only future that life has left to offer us.

There is only one path that leads back to the restoration of American prosperity. Only one path, the intercession of Divine Providence must be restored. We must begin moving back in that direction now. And the Republican Party must lead the way. The Republican Party must plant this standard of sanity firmly upon the battleground of political ideas, and defend it. If not, the nation is lost.

Au contraire mon ami. I’m afraid there is no such thing as the real conservative Mitt Romney. He is the son of a liberal governor who admired Alinsky and a liberal senate candidate mother who Mitt cites as the reason he was pro abortion.

Mitt grew up in a liberal, elite environment. His family is country club and just like the Rockefeller family, his socialism is long lived and runs very deep. He surrounds himself with socialists and elites. He only pretends to be conservative because out of the closet liberals don’t get republican votes. When conservatives aren’t looking, he sends his campaign workers out to assure the socialist RINOs, he is still one of them.

Anyone who imagines Mitt is anything else but liberal is deceived.

"I fear (fill in the blank) may happen if Romney is elected president; therefore, I will withhold my vote from him and give a marginal vote to Obama who has actually already started to destroy America. And that makes me more moral than you who will try to prevent Obama's reelection by voting for Romney."

If you look at the situation in a clear headed manner, a vote for Romney is a vote for Obama. Why?

It is because a Romney Victory is an illusion, which will evaporate into nothing before your eyes on the night of November 4th, when all networks report the appearance of an Obama Landslide.

How did that happen? It is because Romney fits into the Obama class warfare strategy perfectly. Romney fires up Obama's base by presenting them with the enemy incarnate, which is a fat cat Republican rich guy, to whom the term Vulture Capitalist sticks like honey, who doesn't work, lives on investments, and has spent the last several years of his life trying to buy his way into political power.

Obama's base participation swells all fired up against this disgusting rich guy. Adding to this enthusiasm will be these historic victories on the homosexual front, and on the healthcare front, and especially because they drive this important message home, that the first Black President in American History deserves a second term, that we owe the black community in American this much.

O you didn't think of that before? This message resonates powerfully in the deep chamber of America's racial guilt, kept alive by unforgettable historical dramas.

On the other hand, because of Romney's alliance with the homosexual forces to produce the most devestating defeat we have ever suffered in the culture wars, homosexuals serving in the military, which will lead to the destruction of the institution of traditional marriage, as homosexuals gain the benefits of this stolen honor, and because of his past clearly stated support for abortion rights, the turnout of the conservative base will be supressed in a manner that is historically unprecedented.

Romney forces are blind to this, because they do not see it. They think that homosexuals in the military is a good thing. They could care less, and in fact despise what the base thinks about this, and thus, they don't factor it in.

But the base of the Republican Party has fought tooth and nail to stop this infamy, and we were just handed the most devestating defeat on that point. This election should be about turning this back, not making it stick. Millions of Conservatives will not vote to what amounts to a traitor in this important cause. Self-respect still means something to these people. That is the quality that has made the Republican Party great after all.

Just like the passengers on the Titanic Romney Republicans think they are on an unsinkable voyage to political victory. But in the end, the boat sinks out from under their feet. This year, 2012, is the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic after all.

It is the principle of SURVIVAL.

Nonsense. Since when has appeasement (or 'pragmatism' if you will... same thing) ever led to the survival of anyone? In fact, it leads in quite the opposite direction.

What good is a dead conservative killing the country because of principle?

If the principles we hold dear are 'killing the country', then the country is already dead anyway...

OBAMA will be the death of America if he is not defeated.

Then why are you voting for a candidate that cannot beat him?

Poser says, "Really stupid premise"

That response could only come out of a mind that has never seriously studied the principle of Divine Providence, and its essential influence in the founding and ongoing preservation of our nation.

The first step to learning more about this would begin with a reading of George Washington's First Inaugural Address. Here is a link to a good copy of it from the University of Virginia:

George Washington's First Inaugural Address

Please read that speech, and immerse yourself in the moment, and the history that led up to it, and then see if you feel any desire to retract your first evaluation of my premise.

Romney is no different from Obama when it comes to political view a commie is a commie no matter what shade the sun shines on them !

GoldenEagles,

I understand what you mean by divine providence.

Here is my approach:

(1) I will pray for a better candidate than Romney (though I had been praying for one all along, and I sincerely wanted Cain).

(2) If God provides a last minute miracle candidate who is more conservative than Mittens, I will vote for him/her.

(3) If not, I am voting Romney.

Finally, I want to be clear on another point. I am not sure if you are a preacher (you may be!) or a arm chair preacher, but your interpretation of the Bible is your own. We humans tend to interpret things as we read them through our own eyes at that single moment. Sometimes, yes, we come back and re-evaluate our stance. It does happen.

However, unless you are a member of the Catholic church, us Protestants have a 1:1 relationship with God, where all our sins are laid bare directly to God in heaven, through Jesus Christ. When I read the Bible, I get this simple message: Christ died on the cross such that whoever believes in Him, the Father and the Holy Ghost is saved. Period. Beyond this simple message, the Bible can be manipulated to any given purpose, good or hateful. Even Satan quoted the Old Testament in the Bible.

One more point on homosexuality: Sodom is often pointed to as the example of God’s hatred of homosexuals. But God’s real problem with Sodom, in my interpretation, was the nasty way the men of the city treated the Messengers of God. They treated them like fresh meat, and the men of the city wanted to rape them.

Now the Old Testament does speak of the problem of men lying with men, however, that area of the Bible also bans shellfish, pork, and dictates all the restrictions that must be put on women who are having their period. I don’t think you can selectively say that homosexuality is banned, and yet choose not to live by the other rules. You can perhaps argue that the New Testament got rid of the food restrictions, but it lifted nothing as it relates to the female menstrual cycle. Are you obedient to the old law in every letter?

Finally, GeronL often likes to repeat the fallacy that not voting will not be a vote for Obama. Technically, yes, you are not directly incrementing Obama’s vote count.

But what GeronL does not tell his victims of his attempt to rationalize his irrational approach to the problem is that you are increasing the power of the votes that Obama receives.

Say you have a small county, 20Kilopeople. In this county, we’ll give a high voter turnout, say, 70%. Let’s say 7Kilopeople vote for Candidate A. Now if Candidate B matched all voter requirements for people who don’t normally vote for Candidate A’s ideology, he’d get 7Kilopeople, and there’d be a run off election.

However, say a key issue in the country comes up. This issue is handled by Candidate A in such a way that Candidate A’s voters will stick with him.

However, the voters who normally vote for Candidate B, are much pickier. About 10% of them definitely don’t like Candidate A’s stance on this issue, but they are not exactly approving of Candidate B’s approach either. What happens is that this 10% of likely Candidate B voters refuses to vote for Candidate B.

So what happens? Candidate A wins, because Candidate A’s number of votes from people actually casting votes is over 50%. Basically by refusing to vote for Candidate B, voters shrunk the voting pool from 14Kilopeople, to 13.3Kilopeople, and Candidate A carries over 50% of the actual cast votes.

So when GeronL tells you that, one has to wonder if GeronL is actually one of the dark agents of death you speak of.

Obama just “came out” today in full support of Sodomized Marriage. Even though every state that has voted on the matter has voted AGAINST this abhorrent practice. The record is 32-0. Four more states will be voting on this issue this election cycle. So why? Why is Obama breaking the traditional campaign advice about running to the center and instead running far to the left? What is going on with that?

Simple: You will continue to watch as Obama breaks with traditional campaigning moves to the Center, and goes headlong to the far left. On the surface you would think that was a move of suicide. But, that is only if you fail to notice that Obama serves an interest far more pervasive than his radical ideology would suggest.

Obama moving to the left, allows Romney to move to the left and still win.

Let that statement sink in. I will say it again.

Obama is moving to the left and is ABLE to move to the left, because it allows Romney to move to the left and still win. And Romney is moving to the left. In North Carolina, a MUST WIN state for Romney, they just voted overwhelmingly to sustain traditional marriage and rejected the “gay” agenda.

Where was Romney? Issuing a press release saying how sorry he was to see his openly gay adviser resigning. He was going on talk shows and saying “we wanted him to stay with our team.” And he said his campaign “does not discriminate in its hiring practices”.

This is intentional and not “bad timing”. I will repeat it a third time: Obama is moving to the left to ALLOW Romney to move to the left and still win. This is design. A short term sacrifice play by Obama to facilitate the demise of the religious right once and for all.

A “Left of Center” Romney means a permanent shift of the electorate away from Principled, Moral and Constitutional foundations, and establishes a new paradigm for what a Republican Candidate can get away with becoming.

For TPTB this is a win win. If Romney is able to move LEFT and still win, they will be free of “us” forever and we become totally marginalized. If Romney loses, his move left has STILL allowed Obama to move further to the left and win.

No matter which result, we are further LEFT leaning than ever before.

The ONLY HOPE: Romney Loses and Obama’s shift is too far and we see a HUGE reaction against it in 2014 and 2016.

A Romney win, as a left of center Republican, means the END of Goldwater/Reagan Christian Right/Tea Party effectiveness forever. And I mean no third chance. End.. for... dot... ever!

Watch it happen. Then... vote accordingly.

It is because Romney fits into the Obama class warfare strategy perfectly.

No FRiend, Romney's defeat will have nothing at all to do with firing up Obama's base. It has everything to do with the Conservative base not turning out:

When has the Christian Right ever endorsed a pro-choice candidate? Without the Christian Right there is no success.

When has the South ever endorsed a Yankee candidate? Without the South there is no success.

When has there ever been a Conservative endorsement of a candidate that has damaged the RKBA?

Pro-life and RKBA are probably the most immovable principles OF ALL, and this mutt cannot even cover those, not to mention any of the rest. Like McCain only worse. I will not be suprised if Romney wins the election, I will be ASTOUNDED... Even with all of Obamas problems.

roamer_1 says, "Romney's defeat will have nothing at all to do with firing up Obama's base."

While most everything else you said in your post above rings true to me, I find the above statement lacking in realism.

People vote based on their passions. Unfortunately, mostly on what they can be persuaded to hate. The class warfare paradigm is a mechanism that stirs up the passions of hatred in the Democrat Base, and fans into life economic frustrations generally. The more intense the hatred is, the more intense the frustration is, the more likely the people will go to the polls.

A comparison would be in order.

Take for example if you had Ronald Reagan running for President. Here the class warfare stragegy would be useless, because Reagan was never a member of the capitalist elite. He was an actor, and governor of Calfornia, and not particularly wealthy. The left could not generate much animosity in his direction because he did not fit their mold as the enemy.

Compare that to Mitt Romney whose resume shows a Vulture Capitalist, who made his millions lining his pockets with treasures harvested from vunerable and failing business, 50 percent of which he left as a dead carcasses on the road. Everything about Romney's resume fits into the mold of what the Democrat base hates. A Republican fat-cat wall street connected lord of the money markets. To the degree they don't like him, to that degree will they be motivated to make the effort to go to the polls to defeat him.

I can't imagine a person that fits their definition of the capitalist enemy more perfectly than Romney. His nomination would surely energize the Democrat base.

But, as I said, I find the rest of your observations generally accurate.

Our choices are Obummer and the Republican. As Rush says, I live in Realville, so the choice is clear to me.

Sounds more like Rabbitville.

IF it comes down to O v R, in REALVILLE we also have the choice to register our vote elsewhere in that race to cast a vote against liberalism in either candidate. I reject Romney for the same reason I reject Obama. Contrary to the Rabbitville Times, this is actually a race of big government liberalism vs. limited government conservatism. A vote for either Obama or Romney is a vote for Big Government liberalism. In REALVILLE. Hello?

I will vote for an official, on-the-ballot other-party candidate. My vote won't influence the O v R outcome either way.

But my vote WILL be one more grain of sand on the scale in the final vote count, that God willing will reveal a "winner" whom 66% of Americans opposed. He enters office embattled, doubted, and made politically weaker.

Megalomaniacal as Obama is, numbers mean things in politics. It seems to me that narcissist Obama has not only convinced himself of his own omnipotence, but a lot of scared Repubicans and conservatives, too. It's Romney's only hope.

This election is not Obama vs Romney, it's Liberalism vs Statism. Vote accordingly.

As someone said: have your little anti-Romney tantrum, but stay home when the adults go to vote in November.

Romney's supporters arrogantly think of themselves as the adults and folks like Jim Robinson and me as being little kids who throw temper tantrums. It's inconceivable to them that any disagreement with them could stem from anyplace other than pettiness and incorrigibility. They scold and deride common sense and better judgment in their efforts to bully and terrorize me into voting against my better judgment.

It is exactly in line with how Romney's camp would treat conservative Republicans if he ever gets the White House.

Stupid would be letting fear of a nationally despised narcissist make me vote for a guy whose entire political career has been marked by active advancement -- and YOU CAN LOOK IT UP -- of the five MAJOR liberal agendas I've been voting Republican for all these decades to OPPOSE: state-run health care, cap-and-trade global warming ecotyranny, forced acceptance of open homosexuality everywhere from kids' schools to the military, appointing activist liberal judges, and the most chillingly barbaric of all, making tax-subsidized abortion available on demand.

Common sense says voting for Romney is as nuts as voting for Obama. The temper tantrums, it looks to me, are pretty much all coming from folks who just can't fathom why I trust my common sense.

Obozo has declared his intention to persecute the Roman Catholic Church to which you and I belong and which we both take seriously. Robamney has ALREADY persecuted the Roman Catholic Church in Massachusetts under Robamneycare in precisely the same way as Obozo proposes to do. Where do you think Obozo got the infernal idea in the first place? As Catholics, we cannot vote for either Caligula or for Diocletian. Obviously, this is America and you get to vote as you see fit but let’s not lie to ourselves in making believe that there is any meaningful difference on moral matters between Obozo and Robamney. If we lie to ourselves, we might well be sued by Robamney for trademark infringement. Lying to us is Robamney’s job and stock in trade, after all.

A crowbar is not nearly adequate. Try a bulldozer or, better yet, a speeding 100 MPH 100 car freight train fully loaded with lead as its cargo. Flatten the sorry SOB once and for all.

Thank you for your extraordinary wisdom here. Robamney = Obozo = Robamney = Obozo, etc. (repeat as often as necessary until the sheeple get the message).

Barry Goldwater was a pathetic and utterly amoral baby-killer and promoter of lavender causes. When I was a gullible teenager, he made me a Republican. Then I grew up after learning what BMG was REALLY all about.

We judge BOTH Obozo and Robamney by their respective lives as pathological liars and enemies of Western Civilization. No one asked Robamney to run for governor or senator in Taxachusetts. Stop with the pathetic GOP-E excuses already.

BTW, Dewey, you won't shootem after Robamney OR Obozo confiscates your guns as the gun grabber each has always been.

In truth, the more the Church is attacked, IMHO, the STRONGER it gets. Remember what Jesus said that “the gates of hell WILL NEVER prevail against it” ?

It will be a sad day for the America we love when EITHER Obozo or Robamney is elected in November. OTOH, we can be optimists and recognize that when EITHER Obozo or Robamney is DEFEATED in November, that defeat will be a victory for the America we love. I will celebrate the POTUS defeat no matter which is defeated and celebrate the election of Ted Cruz in Texas, Richard Mourdock in Indiana, Josh Mandel in Ohio, Connie Mack in Florida, and other actual conservatives and will mourn the election of each and every Demonrat candidate for governor or senator or congresscritter, whether running honestly as Demonrats or in GOP drag (Boehner, Cantor, McCarthy, etc.)

How could the author of RomneyCARE and RomneyMARRIAGE
and ROMNEYTAXES(called"fees") and the supporter of TARP
and SHARIA and (creeping) POTUS ineligibility
not represent the GOPe?

Obama or Romney? THEY ARE THE SAME.

After the "90%+" as you hallucinate, vote for Robamney, they are going to repent at leisure and the true conservatives will help them and guide their repentance for the remaining four years of the GOP. Of course, there won't be a GOP any more after that because it will have been utterly destroyed by Plastic Man. After Robamney is driven from office in 2016 by an enraged electorate and the GOP is in ashes, we can have a replay of this year's stupidity only in 2016 and beyond, we will have not all those conservative candidates but that many and more designer conservative parties competing for conservative votes and each with its primary emphasis on a different issue: This one will oppose taxes, that one spending, yet a third will be the pro-life party, another the sexual normality party, another the gun owners' party, another the military victory party, another the "free to be you and me" party of Adam and Steve and their drug dealers, etc. Meanwhile the Demoncraft will advance in the now utterly dominant Demonratic Party that will make Obozo look like a Sunday School picnic.

Some of us are just giving you a sneak preview of the future that you cannot admit is coming.

It won’t work that way. There will be enough democrats and rinos to push any nominee through. Without 60% control by conservatives, moderate/libertarian/unknown nominees will get through.

There is no way they will achieve 60% conservative senators, since they’re supporting all of the retreads with the exception of Lugar and maybe Hatch.

It becomes a people publicly to acknowledge the over-ruling hand of Divine Providence and their dependence upon the Supreme Being as their Creator and Merciful Preserver . . . and with becoming humility and sincere repentance to supplicate the pardon that we may obtain forgiveness through the merits and mediation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Samuel Huntington - SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE; PRESIDENT OF CONGRESS; JUDGE; GOVERNOR OF CONNECTICUT (March 9, 1791)

Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation, to select and prefer Christians for their rulers. (October 12, 1816)
I recommend a general and public return of praise and thanksgiving to Him from whose goodness these blessings descend. The most effectual means of securing the continuance of our civil and religious liberties is always to remember with reverence and gratitude the source from which they flow. (June 29, 1826)
John Jay - PRESIDENT OF CONGRESS; DIPLOMAT; AUTHOR OF THE FEDERALIST PAPERS; ORIGINAL CHIEF JUSTICE OF THE U. S. SUPREME COURT; GOVERNOR OF NEW YORK

I do not believe that the Constitution was the offspring of inspiration, but I am as satisfied that it is as much the work of a Divine Providence as any of the miracles recorded in the Old and New Testament
(July 9, 1788 )
Benjamin Rush SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE; SURGEON GENERAL OF THE CONTINENTAL ARMY; RATIFIER OF THE U. S. CONSTITUTION; “FATHER OF AMERICAN MEDICINE”; TREASURER OF THE U. S. MINT; “FATHER OF PUBLIC SCHOOLS UNDER THE CONSTITUTION”

Cordially,

If you believe that it is better to have Obama for another 4years, the you are a flaming idiot.

I agree, but there a lot of them hanging out here.

I also suspect some of them are really Obamabots.

NO! 0bama and Stalin do not change course just because what they are doing are at first unpopular. They just destroy those who disagree with them. With Romney we have a chance to do this peacefully.

WTF is wrong with you people?

"Gay Marriage" is now "your" issue in which you place the survival of America based upon?

I am a 68 years old Christian, Nam Vet, Independent Conservative who loves his country and as I once put it all on the line, I will do WHATEVER it takes (yes, including holding my nose and crawling over a 100 yds of broken glass) to vote for ANYONE who may defeat our FASCIST, HATE-AMERICA/MILITARY, SURRENDER-TOOL, NEO-COMMIE, Dear Leader.

I would have gladly supported Sarah, but that was not to be.

Then I supported Bachman, Perry and Cain respectively and Santorum lukewarmly.

The RINO Romney was my last and least favored candidate, but I've NOT seen ANYTHING he has said (OR DONE) which leads me to believe he would ACTIVELY work to HARM our Country.

Have you people not been paying attention to what O'Bummer has been doing to our Great Republic?

And y'all want to allow him to continue his march towards our DESTRUCTION?

I'm very close to bagging it with Free Republic as there are way too many here who want to put so called "Principles" (phony though they may be) above the survival of our Country.

You ALL may be sick!!!

I am a 75 year old Christian and Vet. While I may not agree with every word you wrote above I sure agree in principal and lament the deterioration of this site.
