Ever since Sarah Palin entered the national political arena two years ago as the Republican VP nominee, she has caused sheer panic in the hearts and minds of the Leftist Liberals and Moderates in America. Accordingly, the Leftist media is hell-bent on doing all they can to discredit Palin’s accomplishments and destroy her character at any cost. Even now, much effort and energy is being expended to deceive the American people regarding her considerable achievements. Her popularity among conservatives is astounding, and many believe that she will get the 2012 endorsement for the presidency. As Sarah's new book is flying off of the selves, the progressive libs in their hatred are attacking and trashing her on Amazon.com's book review section. Newsweek a few months ago took some shots at Sarah with their subtle article on Palin and her great influence with conservatives and being the voice of evangelical women.

What is driving the Left’s hatred of Sarah Palin? Some of the same stuff that often drove some of the same people to similarly hate young George Bush, their perception of an apparently-unearned boost to national prominence and a frequent-enough display of an inner (over?)confident self-assurance that, to many, seems to border quite closely on smugness. And yet, when Barack Obama’s rise is shown to fit nearly the same mold, the Left applauds. Odd.

Just before the 2008 election, I was stuffing envelopes for my favorite charity, and one of the women present had an adverse reaction to my mention of Palin. She attends one of the mainline Protestant denominations in Seattle, married late in life and works for the local electric utility; her husband works for the state. They have a daughter who was 13 at the time. I asked what she had against Palin.
“She has too many children. It’s a sin. Two is OK. I can see three. But four is too many. And that fifth one’s a Mongoloid idiot! She should have got rid of it. What kind of life is it going to have? It’s a sin to bring defective children into the world.”
I wasn’t surprised because that is the mainstream feeling here.

I wasn’t surprised at this either because that is the mainstream feeling here. I heard it many times during the campaign.

I wasn’t surprised at this because I’ve heard this for years all over the country and from family members.
While a lot of people don’t like to say publicly what that lady said, they believe it, and in their hearts they believe Palin and her daughter have been irresponsible in having children, a problem that could have easily been fixed by abortion. Further, it’s not just Leftists. People whom I would consider moderates or simply fiscal conservatives have the same feelings, even if they are hesitant to say such things in public.
It’s more widespread than you think.
