A MESSAGE TO CARDINAL EGAN AND HIS LACKEYS ON THE OCCASION OF THE LAST NOVUS ORDO MASS AT THE NATIONAL SHRINE OF SAINT ANN’S

You, Sir, may be finished with this church. But we are not finished with you. You may think you have won, but we will not rest until your name is blackened in the annals of the Church and the mere mention of “Egan” nauseates the faithful as does “Esau” and “Judas.” When you enter a room, be it the Waldorf Astoria’s Grand Ballroom, the Metropolitan Opera’s Belmont Room, or any of the other humble venues you frequent, the decent will rise, not to applaud you, but to give you their backs and leave if you do not.

For those who would like to (quickly) see some magnificent churches which are also on Egans "hit list", and will also soon fall under the wrecking ball.....go to these:

St. Stephen's (1848 - present church 1853) east 28 st.
St. Michael (1857 -present church 1906, with all furnishing from previous building) west 34 St.
Sacred Hearts of J & M (1914) east 33 street
St. James (1827) oliver Street...the "Five Points"
St. Brigid (1848) Avenue B
Holy Rosary (1884) 119 St
All Saints (1894) 129 Street. Stained glass by Tiffany, organ by Roosevelt (cousins of TR). Magnificent!
St. Aloysius (1899) 132 Street
St. Elizabeth of Hungary (1891)E. 83 St.
St. Raphael (1907) west 41 Street
St. Joseph (1924) Monroe St
Most Holy Crucifix (1925) Broome Street
Guardian Angel (1888) west 21 st
St. Vincent De Paul (1840, present church 1937) west 23 st

this is just a partial list..........

The Knights of columbus.........in Manhattan.........intervene?

BWHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

A nice sentiment, I can assure you. But the "x" factor most do not know is that the co-chaplains are the leaders of the Liberal/gay clerical mafia in the Arch of NY.

But, you get an A+ for trying! Thanks!

I have no idea. It's always good to check the trash bins when a church closes. Many icons and other blessed items end up there.

Is this the same church?

Critical Mass in the Big Apple

The article is on pages 1,2 and the left side of 3. If so, the SSPX is fighting along side you.

I don't know how to post the pictures from this, maybe someone else can?

Why doesn't someone contact Pius X Society and see if they can do something in saving the Church and turn it back to the Old Latin Mass? It is a well known fact the Novus Ordo is an abomination and has caused many a Catholic Church to close.
Very sad indeed, for those who need it there, is no one higher then Eagan to stop this Church from being sold?
St. Anne pray for those who are trying to save thy Church building !!!!!!!! and HELP THEM !!!!!!!!!!!

I read something like that a little while back, but will Pius X , be able to get total control of St. Annes to keep it open?
Pius X Society , i hope Good St. Anne comes to help. Seems such a horrible waste to have St. Anne's sold and destroyed. Worst yet a SIN.
Such beautiful pictures!!!

It's fine for you to interpret my post as dirt kicking if you want---I know from experience that Westerners (papal or protestant) don't take sober Orthodox critiques of their confessions kindly--but leave Welsh out of it.

It's for the sake of folks like Welsh that I 'stop by' intermittently to point out the Orthodox view that the roots of the problems in the Western confessions are a good deal deeper than many who are dissatisfied with them and searching are aware.

Right. The Orthodox are perfect and the Romans are scum.

As I said, move along please. You have sowed your discord.

Our priest, Fr. Burfitt is quoted in the article, he was the sub deacon at the mass. There is a picture of the back of his head.

Perhaps Good St. Ann will intercede on our behalf and help to save this temple of God.

But, if God, in His infinite wisdom wills that Egan be allowed to truimph in his spirit of evil......then we do most earnestly pray that Almighty God smite Edward Cardinal Egan most severely.

If not in this world, then in the next....for the tremendous damage to souls which he has wreaked in his sad clerical career.

May God have mercy upon his soul - for he indeed does "know what he do".

Christ in chasing the money changers from the temple made very interesting remarks and charges/curses against the clergy of that day. Such may well also apply to the clergy of our day as well.

But at least the money changers did not try to sell the temple!
