Hey, look at it this way. It'll be easier to convince gay American men to work for their company in China with more male secretaries.....

Sounds good to me. Berlesconi is a man surrounded by European limpwristed lightweights.

"We also have gorgeous secretaries, superb girls," he said.

,,, what a romeo. I've only been to Italy once. All the guys there seem to think they're Romeos.

But there is difference between gorgeous conservative women and gorgeouse socialist women.

But if the beautiful socialist women aren't speaking English, you get to "dub your own soundtrack."

Well then I don't want 'em, if they're socialists. No matter how hard they beg.

I think it's funny.

You could take that statement one of two ways.
I take it to mean that some very obtuse businessmen still continue to underestimate the brains of attractive women.

You would not believe the laughter I shared with my very "alpha male" boss (happily married and did NOT mess around on his wife) when some unprofessional suppliers and customers, not to mention prospective employees and competitors, attempted to clumsily "subvert" me to their cause during business dealings.

Sexist attitudes in business is often a dual edged sword. The perceived "victim" is often in a higher power position than the amateur "power player" realises.

My boss paid a fair wage for my time, honest work and my loyalty.
I actually enjoyed reporting all the subtle nuances he may have missed when people who should have known better, tried to "play" me against him, in the reception area.
Teamwork!
And the loyalty worked both ways. If, as occasionally happened, someone was extremely and overtly personnally offensive to me, my boss banned them from business contacts.
It is a skill, for which I am well compensated, and enjoy exercising on my respected employers behalf.
Sadly, word eventually gets out, but that is why certain skilled receptionists and/or executive assistants command top pay for "unskilled clerical" work.
POTUS has Mr. Rove.
CEOs have executive assistants.
Smart small business owners have fiercly loyal receptionists.

"God, I love that guy!"

You took the words right out of my keybord!

VIVA SILVIO!

This guy is like Rudy Giuliani and GWB rolled up into one fine Italian.

Allow me...

Okay, Italian film stars, not secretaries...but at least they're Italian.

I want to be just like Berlusconi when I grow up!

Those girls look Spanish to me. However, Italian girls are just as beautiful if not more so!

Ma esattamente percio il Berlusconi chiede l'arriva degli uomini d'affari dall'America. Peccato la mia vechiaia, ma non sono dimenticate certe avventure all'uffizio di Milano.
