"The results of this poll is really frightening. The media has so much power over the general public."
Terri's case and the War on Terror are two of many issues presented by the media in the way they want the public to perceive them.

Go vote anyway, we are gaining on them. I felt sick and then I decided to try to teach the station managers a lesson. Whether they get it or not, for some reason, I completely changed my mind and now I want to STAMP out that poll.
Just go to the religion forum and browse, you can't miss it. I'll ping you.

Is it possible that George W. Greer really wants to spare Terri, but he is afraid of the FL mobs demanding euthanasia? Maybe he is like Louis XIV, who moved the royal palace from Paris to Versailles to be rid of the irritating Parisian mobs.
No, more likely than not, Greer is a part of the euthanasia movement, which supporters call "mercy killing." He seems to eat, sleep, and dream starving Terri Schindler to death. Nothing else will bring him comfort. Perhaps he has precommitted himself to that position. I trust that his execution order will NOT bring him the peace he so sorely desires.

Greer would be more like Caesar than Pontius Pilate. Pilate admitted he could find no wrong in Christ. But Greer won't admit that he is wrong.

Right you are, James Sensenbremmer.

Can Jeb Bush remove Greer from the bench? Is he reluctant to do so because Greer is (or has been) Republican? Could the pro-euthanasia vote in FL be impacting Bush also? Many ill-informed FL elderly say they are for euthanasia so as not to be a "burden" to their families or society. But they don't understand this particular case, I would imagine.

"It's a DISGRACE for Tampa Bay Online to put this poll on their home page, and does more damage, because of the public perception that it creates.
AND, it's not a random sample. Who knows, some pro-death groups could have been working all afternoon voting on this poll!"
It is a disgrace. My guess is that those groups have been hard at work in all aspects of this case!

To: Theodore R.
It is interesting that 'killum'Greer has tried to mischaracterize the ruling to execute Terri as 'a mandate from the higher court', as if he is only following orders from a higher court when it is his ruling to execute her via dehydration and starvation that was ruled upon by the higher court.

I did! :) There is no way I wanted only the idiots to show up on that poll result. However, it sickened me to think they would even ask the question! I will look for your ping.

I agree, this man for some reason has allowed his mind to be coopted by the euthanasia movement. Perhaps he has an unknown reason for siding repeatedly with Michael Schiavo.
To: pc93
Sorry, pc93, if there was ever an elected official who will do nothing for any aspect of the prolife cause, it is the former Mr. Elizabeth Taylor, "R"- VA. This is one of the most pompous windbags up there, nearly as bad as his WV neighbor, Robert C. Byrd, D-WV.

THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA "Stick a fork in it, it's done." You are so correct. This poll reminds me of that book where the town decides to stone people to death. I do not understand how people can think this way.

Terri's case and the War on Terror are two of many issues presented by the media in the way they want the public to perceive them.Yes, I said from the very beginning that the media has always been slanted in favor of killing Terri. Why do you think O'Rielly has dropped this? Also, why is it that Gretta can talk on and on and on and on about the Peterson trial but not once mention a case where a murder is being planned. It all too pat. The dice is loaded. We are being led down a very very dark tunnel.
