Of course my friend. I believe it is real - but some will never be convinced. I don't need "proof", I have faith.

I disagree with such statement.
There is a big difference between believing that a person named Jesus existed and believing that a person named Jesus was the Messiah.
Most Jews have no problem conceding that Jesus existed. As a matter of fact, having this historical artifact tied to Jesus is good for the Jews, since it will increase tourism and good will to Israel. (Israel even loaned the artifact to Western groups to capitalize on all the free P.R.)
Finding that this box belonged to Jesus is a positive for Israel, not a negative. The free publicity that the Israeli tourist attractions and Israeli antiquities received was priceless.
I myself will be going to Europe soon, and I would have considered a jaunt to Israel to see this box and other antiquities, despite the current terrorism.
Wonder what cute names CNN has for the relics of other faiths.
The stone of the box is covered with a 2,000 year old patina. The inscription cuts through the patina, showing it was added in modern times to an ancient box.
Not necessarily. Read what I referred you to and you'll see the Bible is NOT discussing a flat circle. It clearly states the shape of the earth is a circle but does NOT state that it is flat. Some of the pther verses also clarify that it is a spherical shape suspended. Hardly a flat earth. Of course you may continue to believe what you wish. Just pointing out the Bible is at odds with what you.
If so, how do you explain this?

Apparently what is written in the Bible is not something you wish to acknowledge. Clearly it defies your charge that the earth is flat.
BTW, a ball is in the shape of a circle and it's not flat. The shape of the earth is circular whichis what the Bible is stating in the verses I woutlined for you but nowhere does it state that it is flat. Only in your mind ... .
Picking on one passage and trying to imply that the Ten Commandments written by the finger of God excludes all others for being His messnger is laughable. Whether it be written by the finger of God or stated by a prophet matters not. The important point is that ALL wisdom in the Bible comes from God.

Yet, the earliest known manuscripts are the Dead Sea Scrolls which were reportedly written sometime between 200 BC and 100 AD and not discovered until 1947. Which version of the bible are you relying on? Or do you contend all versions written have been identical to the original?
It's not only "faith" ... the Bible clearly states it is the Word of God.

There are many translations and versions. What I find remarkable is that the Dead Sea Scrolls VALIDATE what is written in the Bible. As to which translation or version is best is subject to debate. Volumes have been written on that. In any event it is reassuring to know that the Dead Sea Scrolls confirm what is written. Truth is truth.
