I clicked on this thread thinking it was about a mobile chemical weapons lab...once again, I find it's only about FReepers squawking "censored! censored!"

The mobile lab was orginally invented in the 1960's...

Apart from the description of the vehicle and its alleged purpose, is there any indication that it actually contains any bio weapons?
To: vannrox
No, nobody claimed to find any actual bio WEAPONS, just something they thought was some sort of Bio lab (And it now seems increasingly likely it isn't even that.)
To: Admin Moderator
that's totally understandable.....LOL I quit trying to be the first one to post something, you have to be really quick!!

I hope they are talking about a different vehicle than that mobile tool shed.

"And yet you signed up 1997-12-10 with a profile number of 416 and are still around." Yes. Don't post very often anymore, and still enjoy the site. Consider myself more of a McCain Republican. Doesn't sit well with folks here. I keep my opinion to myself, most of the time, but I still use the site for breaking news (and a lot of breaking wind).
To: ChemistCat
I agree. Between the juvenile jokes and the bickering, it is difficult to get any news.

Why do you say that.....they haven't really looked it over yet. This could be nothing.....or it could be the real deal....we need to wait and see.

I've been trying to get information, and I agree there are too many lame jokes on this thread.

Yes, I agree. I heard the suppositions about the "electric pulleys" so objects could be moved without being handles. Unless they were a mobile Bacon burger truck for the Christian areas of Iraq, I can't think of anything ELSE the regime wouldn't want to handle. ;)

Mobile Bio Labs can be very small. This picture is a Mobile anti-germ warfare vehicle in use by the Homeland Security.
"... Last fall, when a Connecticut woman fell ill, researchers were able to identify anthrax as the culprit using a gas chromatograph (GC) from Agilent with the Sherlock Microbial Identification System from MIDI Inc. Using the results of GC analysis, Sherlock automatically calculates the fatty acid profile (fingerprint) of bacteria and searches one or more databases to identify it. A bioterrorism database, developed by MIDI in collaboration with the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infection Diseases (USAMRIID), contains the fingerprint profiles of anthrax and other bacteria related to bioterrorist activity. Agilent develops the only gas chromatographs compatible with the Sherlock system.
Mobile laboratory
The ability of equipment to identify the biological or chemical agent used in an attack is essential in bioterrorism defense, but the key to a quick response is the availability of that equipment in an actual attack. In collaboration with partners and the military, Agilent provides a mobile laboratory platform that moves the power of an analytical lab right to the incident site, allowing analysis to begin immediately. The mobile platform includes the analytical equipment necessary to detect dangerous chemical and biological agents in the air, water, soil or food supplies -- agents such as saran gas, mustard gas or anthrax. The mobile lab eliminates risks of transporting contaminated samples across uncontaminated or populated zones to a laboratory, preventing further exposure in the event of a sample release. Further, it minimizes the problem of transport disruption of the sample to a lab which could slow identification and reaction time to a biological attack.
By providing the ability to identify bacteria and chemical agents with a mobile platform, Agilent enables researchers to get results faster, providing needed information to authorities quickly, helping defend public health, and potentially saving lives...."

I think the derth of information is to blame for the unwashed cluttering up your thread.
We came here seeking info, but, as of yet, none is to be found. So some started making jokes.
