It's 25% of the UN budget, down from 27%. Of course, the military is 35%, and the humanitarian aid is 60%. Without the US the UN wouldn't be able to come up with enough money to keep the lights on.

I was gonna say much the same thing, put I would go further. Kick them out, tear down the building, and use the land as a lasting memorial to the beatniks who used to occupy it and vow never to join that apostate organization ever again. I just went to the Arabic News site to post a letter to the editor or on a forum. I was going to say that I would be happy if we were booted out of the UN.
