You think the story is a fizzler and the reporting on Fox is funny? Turn on CNN and you'll get the same coverage. The air space over the highway is closed, with the exception of a police helicopter taking pictures. 20 miles of the highway is closed. Doesn't sound funny to me, although I'm hoping it's not a terrorist attempt. Better safe than sorry and all that.

According to a NYPD Bomb Squad guy on Fox this morning, detonating a device does not have to blow up the main charge but hopefully the ignition source for the device. Most of the time it is the crude devices that will detonate with the Bomb Squad's external charge.

Seems like I read somewhere that these people like to mess with numbers. And that they selected September 11 for the symbolism ("call 911!", 11 = the towers, etc). Now these guys are talking about 9/13 - and FRIDAY the 13th to boot. We could be in for a rocky ride today. (superstitious tinfoil hat may be required) ;-B

i've been thinking about this, too. it might be worthwhile to do some searching of anything significant on their route south. the bridge in tampa comes to mind. orlando comes to mind, but the route would have been really bizarre. and now john scott is saying that the waitress made her observations not last night but the night before, in which case they could have put just about anything just about anywhere -- you can get all over the place in 24 hours. and that wouls explain the positive reaction by the dogs but the apparent lack of explosives there. this one has a very creepy feel to it.

I agree with you. I suppose it's possible these people are THAT stupid, but I doubt it. While the authorities are focusing on the expendable ones, a bomb is on its way to a Florida nuclear plant or the cruise ship harbor.

Someone emailed Fox news that there is a nuclear power plant in So. FL. Does anyone recall where? There was a map with all the nuke plants on FR shortly after 9/11/1.
