I'm encouraged. The front page of (increasingly leftish) Discover Magazine devotes the whole front page of the september issue to (Global Warming Suprise) A New Ice Age.
"Oceanographers have discovered a huge river of freshwater in the Atlantic formed by melting polar ice. They warn it could soon bury the Gulf Stream, plunging North America and Europe into frigid winters

Between this and the 200 plus million dollar bill voted on today to help reduce the problem of fat Americans, I'm glad that the government has it's priorities in order. Hell, it's not like we're at war or anything.

And yes, we're beaten. With idiots like these running the nation, we'll be a French or Chinese colony very soon.
