That's one way of looking at it. Looks more to me like the government is trying to scare the bajeebers out of everyone so they'll sign to anything it wants to do. The shooter was just a person who's be buying everything they've been spewing. I'll bet this guy would accept anything they wanted to do. Now to me, that's dumbed down.

I don't think you really mean that you think it's okay for this guy to take lethal action against someone who only broke a civil code, but that's what you're advocating by supporting the scare tactics our government is using. The masses now seem to be willing to allow National I.D.s, public profiling of innocent citizens, the monitoring of all vehicular movements, the TIPS program and the dismantling of Posse Commitatus. Uh, hello, the scare tactics might need to be turned town just a tad unless you agree with all this. Do you?
