I don't hate Southerners. I do hate lies and liars and there are a flock of them around the banners of treason raised by the Slaveocracy. They share several dangerous fantasies such as they are "conservatives who don't compromise..." and that the Slaveocracy had a right to treachery and disunion. Yet, these same meatheads claim to uphold the Constitution. The same constitution that is predicated upon Union.

My only fear is the stupidity of the American voter which has been amply demonstrated through the centuries. The continued existence of the DemocRATic party is fulsome testimony to that stupidity and corruption. To the extent the South has turned to the modern world it has rejected that party.

I love Southerners since my entire family is Southerner and I was raised there. My favorite Southerners are Bo Diddley, Jimmy Reed, Jr. Wells, Elvis, James Brown, Ray Charles, Faulkner, Jesse Helms, J.C. Watts, Walter Payton, Phil Gramm, King Curtis, Robert Penn Warren, Edgar Allen Poe, the Commadores, Booker T., Bear Bryant and Stonewall Jackson. I also like butterbeans, watermelon, catfish, greens, chowder peas, pecans, peanuts and moon pies.

If that costs him votes, whose fault is that?

That's exactly right Sabertooth. To listen to the RNC loyalists here it will be the fault of conservatives if the Republicans lose the House in Nov. Perhaps they can explain how this is any different than a company’s shareholders blaming the customers of the company for a terrible earnings report instead of management.

Having gone through umpteen elections supporting lesser of evils (RINO) republicans with their condescending attitude towards conservatives I for one have about had it with this party. Maybe a few years in political exile will realign the Republican Party with its grassroots base and sweep out the big government types that are totally out of step with the majority of republican voters. Something has to give because continual compromise with the democrats is what is driving creeping socialism in this country.
