Arafat Opts for the 'Hudaibiyah' Treaty

Yassir Arafat has stretched his "Intifada" of Terror as far as he was allowed after Israel's Prime Minister Ariel (Arik) Sharon made various incursions into the areas previously gifted to Arafat under the Oslo Accords. Arafat knew that he was coming close to the end. But, even then, he expected benefits from the Europeans and the U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell for Israel's assaults which Arafat caused by his homicide bombings of Israelis. Even now, there is anticipation that the Bush family will, in deference to Arab interests, opt to save Arafat and reward his Terror with what Powell calls a "provisional State".

When Arafat's homicide bombings killed 31 Israelis in 3 days, Sharon opted to take- over areas gifted to Yassir Arafat under Oslo. At this point, even Arafat's own spokesman and so-called leaders printed a full page ad in the "Al Quds" newspaper, with signatures from 55 highly placed leaders in the Palestinian Authority, pleading with the bombers to stop killing by telling them it was now hurting their cause. They offered no apologies to their victims but merely stated that the tactic of murder was no longer useful and a new approach must be used.

Arafat now agrees to accept the "Camp David 2 Accords" in which President Clinton forced then Prime Minister Ehud Barak to offer 95% of Judea and Samaria, all of Gaza, all Jerusalem occupied by Jordan from 1948 to 1967, (probably including gifting the Golan Heights to Syria). But, Arafat insisted on also giving 3-5 million Arabs the "Right of Return". That was the deal breaker.

Arafat refused his State then but will accept it now that he's lost what he calls his latest "Intifada of the Brave" which he started on September 28, 2000. Arafat's "capitulation" comes only after his Arabs have killed over 545 Israelis, wounding 4152, many maimed for life with lost limbs and bodies full of nails and shrapnel. And he has deliberately sacrificed his own Arab women and children as cannon fodder or human shields. He used his 9 years as Supreme Authority for his people to corrupt, steal, kill, and implant into his educational system (schools, TV, radio, newspapers and summer camps) the need for children to hate and kill Jews. He now awaits rescue by Bush and Powell. But, be aware that when Arafat signs any agreement, this is what he means:

For those who understand Arab culture, Koranic law considered non-Muslim infidels worth converting to Islam or killing. If you have studied Islamic history, you will recognize the term: "al-Hudaibiya Treaty" and its meaning to Muslims. Arafat often uses the expression "Hudaibiya" when he speaks to his people in Arabic or when he meets with the Arab National Council.

To all of them "Hudaibiya" is a well-understood code-word which, in brief, means "Kiss the hand of your enemy until you can cut it off." That is what Muhammed did to the Jews of the Quraish Tribe (alternate spelling: Koreish or Quraiza) who lived in Mecca. Arafat is now ready to play the "Hudaibiya" card by accepting the Camp David 2 offer of 1999, thereby staving off disaster for him and his cronies until he is militarily strong enough to mount another assault.

In the seventh century, Muhammed, supposedly received the word of G-d that he was G-d's last and only prophet. He initiated the third monotheistic religion, Islam (which means "submission"). He zealously propagated Islam to the desert tribes in the Arabian peninsula. To win over the Jews, he adopted many Jewish customs. But, the Jews in Mecca refused to accept any changes in Judaism. The Muslims and Muhammed negotiated with them to pray at the Ka'aba Stone, a black monolith in Mecca. Because they were only 1400 men, they offered a peace treaty, the "Hudaibiya Treaty", suspending war for 10 years. Three years later, when Mohammed was stronger with a 10,000 man army, he set out to liberate Mecca and exterminated the Jewish tribe (1), selling the women they didn't kidnap into slavery. Because the Jews rejected Muhammed's Islam, there are many hostile denunciations of Jews in the Koran and bitter attacks upon the Jewish tradition, which have affected the beliefs of religious Muslims today. Muhammed established forever the right and even obligation of every Muslim to make agreements with non-Muslims when necessary (but only for 10 years as in the "Hudaibiya Treaty") and then break these agreements when stronger so Islam could advance. Neither honor, nor ethics, nor obligations are allowed to stand in the way of establishing domination of Islam across the entire planet.

Therefore, in keeping with Muhammed's teachings, Arafat will now play the card of "Hudaibiya". This makes every Arab Muslim a potential radical Fundamentalist, motivated by the strict laws of Islam. They believe their victims are infidels and, therefore, have no honor so to cheat them is acceptable as part of a war without end for Islam. As non-Muslims, they get no pity because the victim is something less than human. Islam divides the world into "Dar al Islam" (the world of Islam) and "Dar al Harb" (the world of infidels and, therefore, War).

Arafat will plead his willingness for peace and sign anything, now that he is losing land and power due to his homicidal actions. Arafat is expecting that the Europeans, the United Nations under Kofi Annan and, most certainly, the U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell and the Arabist State Department will leap upon the offer. Their collective voices will say: "There, you see, he was always an honest partner, just a little late in adjusting to reality". This reward for terror is expected by all of the above and will soon be delivered by President George W. Bush.

Regrettably, the nations have never understood why the Muslims and Arabs always seemed so quick to break contracts and agreements. Perhaps that is why America was so easily misled by Saudi Arabia, Egypt and, of course, the Arabist U.S. State Department.

Then, it is expected that President Bush, knowing that none of this is true, will pretend that Arafat has turned the corner. Bush will accept Powell's pacifistic prodding and demand that Israel now give Arafat exactly what he wants. Somehow, Isarel will be penalized as the victim of Arab terror, compounded by political and commercial needs of various industries.

President Bush will give Arafat what a craven President Clinton and a weak Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered at Camp David 2 in desperation to Arafat. He recognized their weakness and thought he could get more, so Arafat refused 95% of Judea and Samaria and most of Jerusalem. Documents show that is when Arafat began planning for his next spontaneous "intifada" which he ignited on Rosh HaShanah 2000 - now 21 months - during which he has murdered 545 Israelis, wounding 4152.

The anti-Semite packs of the E.U., the U.N., the Arab League, the State Department will dance and howl that their boy finally accepted their wisdom. The "Hudaibiya" Syndrome would now be in full play. According to schedule, a manipulative Arafat, like Mohammed, will offer a delaying treaty. There will be negotiations and conferences while Israel is forced to withdraw and cease fighting the on-going Terror. Arafat will spawn an occasional homicide bombing just to insure that everyone is anxiously prodded to keep up the negotiations while Arafat re-builds his broken terrorist infrastructure with more European and American taxpayers' donor money. Powell will continue to plead with the terrorist nations to pretend to join a non-existent coalition to fight Global Terror while the father of all Terror is graciously awarded his own State as a free base of Terror operations.

George Tenet, head of the CIA, will re-build Arafat's 12 Secret Services into one coordinated fighting unit with all the high tech equipment and training the CIA can provide. The Europeans will continue to pump money into Arafat's burgeoning Army and re-build the infra-structure that those "careless" Jews destroyed - like barracks, police stations, new weapons and uniforms. Somehow, I also see foreign troops brought in as trainers and peacekeepers.

Israel will be dragged into a hell-hole called the International Peace Conference and threatened with embargoes and invasion if she dares to attack Arafat's Terrorists in any form of defense or Hot Pursuit.

Naturally, the Leftist betrayers of the Jewish State will be part of the Planning Committee. This includes the Oslo Gang, Eg., Shimon Peres, Yossi Beilin, "et al". Israel may have a French or Russian-style revolution where the Oslo Gang will be ruthlessly hunted down for the new graveyards they created by the sneak attack they conducted on the Israel public.

France, England, Norway, the U.N., Mary Robinson (of Durban, S.A. infamy) and others of the U.N. Colin Powell should arrive in high dudgeon, presumably dressed in robes befitting the Lord High Executioner of the Grand Inquisition. Of course, Egypt, Saudi Arabia - the exporters of Terror to America - along with Syria which as now been made Chair of the U.N. Security Council and the other rabble of the Arab League will create this Terror State to kill the Jewish State of Israel. These generally corrupt and vicious anti-Semites will gather in decorum - to sleep in elegant hotels, eat fine food and imbibe only the best wines (including and especially the suppressed tee- totaling Muslims) and then pass solemn judgement on Israel and the Jews.

The ambulatory scum of our planet will knowingly accept the "Hudaibiya" Syndrome and assist Arafat in giving birth to an abomination called the Terrorist State of Palestine. They will be so busy chortling and breaking wind from too much gourmet foot to notice that soon, that Terror State will grow in power and stick a shaft so far up their intestinal tract that even their tape-worm will feel the pain. Just as the State Department cultivated Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Syria, allowing Osama bin Laden's sleeper terror agents to saturate America, so too will Arafat's Terrorists poison the globe with Islamic fervor.

Be assured that, in America, we will hopefully see former President Bush and his cohort Baker, standing with Clinton in Court for what they did to Israel and to America in greed and perfidy, as partners with Arab regimes.

Let us hope to see a veritable parade of paddy wagons pull up in front of the State Department and the U.N. to empty those houses of ill repute for what they have foisted on the American and the Israeli people. We could empty the jails of petty criminals for those far more deserving of being taken out of circulation. Isn't it time we cleared the filth, muck and betrayers out of our federal government? With Terrorists on one side of the gate (inside) and our bureaucrats on the other with the key, Americans just are not safe.

This is an extremely dark prognosis -- and I can't say it's unjustified. I'd be ready to say "no, it won't happen this time," except for one factor: Colin Powell.

Powell has adopted the role of conciliator a outrance as if he'd never been a soldier and had no understanding of the motivations or dynamics of militarist radicalism. He wields an undue influence over Bush Administration policy decisions. Only if Dubya can bring himself to ignore Powell will he be able to maintain a firm line; Powell was busily "interpreting" Bush's June 24 speech to mean the exact opposite of what Bush said within twenty-four hours of the event.

President Bush, and his team, are aware of what Arafat is planning and they're not going to fall for it. First of all, it really pisses me off that this writer would even suggest something like this. Bush has spent a tremendous amount of political capital on fixing this mess. He has led even when the rest of the world has whined and cried that they don't want to follow. He led anyway.

I don't think most people realize all he has done and how hard it has been on him both personally and politically. He's out there ALONE. The least that should be done is an acknowledgement of the courage and honor he has shown.

You might think it this as a shot accross the bow of the government.

The really stupid thing is if the palestinians were to stop killing jews while they ate or rode buses etc for..say a year they'd get their country. For a people who are supposed to be pretty bright they really are dumb. I mean I figured it out and I've never been accused of being the brightest bulb on the tree.

They could have had an autonomous state several times - that's not their objective.

They are the Arab pistol to the head of the State of Israel.

Seems like the author hasn't been keeping up on current events. President Bush puts the onus on the Palestinians to get rid of leadership tainted by terrorism; he silently watches IDF campaign against terror cells in the West Bank and Gaza. You'd think GAMLA would want to encourage allies in their positive actions, not predict a opportunistic sell-out.

Sorry, but it is you who does not understand the basic dynamic at work.

The rejectionists who want "all or nothing", or as they loudly say "Palestine from the river to the sea", view an Oslo/Camp David rump Palestine as the worst possible outcome. The closer such a rump state comes to being a reality, the more human bombs they will detonate.

It is not a question of "tweaking" Oslo or Camp David until both Israel and the PA are satisfied. It is a question of dealing with the terror bombing rejectionists who hold the ultimate "veto card" and will never accept a Palestine which does not encompass all of present Israel.

Envision this senario:

The Pali's wisen up and oust Arrafat, not to placate the West or diminish terror, but rather to elect a more radical leader from either Hammas or Islamic Jihad. This new Militant Terrorist Leader unleashes a genocide campaign that makes Arrafat reign seem like a fiesta.

The European Union and U.N. laud the Palis move toward a reformed "democratic" government while Israeli citizens are hunted like dogs on the streets of Tel Aviv and Jeruselum. When Israel re-enters the West Bank it provides the only respite from Pali homicide bombmers, but the E.U. and U.N. pass resolutions condemning Israel's "Nazi" like tactics against the innocent "peace-loving" Palis.

Israel is in a diplomatic Catch-22. Keep the evil you know because the one on the horrizon can not be better.
