For everyone's information -- Director Mueller was nominated in July 2001, confirmed in August 2001, and did take the oath as Director until 4 September 2001 -- exactly seven days before 9/11! Just what was he supposed to in seven days?

He was supposed to be truthful and candid about what his agency did know, etc. Instead, he lied, and his lies were revealed by the whistleblower's letters, now supported by other evidence.

challenged to produce - more resources. I have another plan: Clean out the dead wood and use the savings for new-hires. Why don't they ever go that route?

If the government could get rid of "dead wood," there'd be about 61 employees left on the payroll. Plus, we'd suddenly be paying early pensions + benefits for the 20 to 30 million who were no longer employed.

I thought I was the only one with tin foil on about Rowley -- if she isn't a clinton plant I will be shocked. Her whole purpose is to get Mueller if you ask me and tarnish Pres Bush. I don't believe she wrote it either!
