As if ABC News ever had any credible claim to impartiality, this should be counted as the last nail in their coffin.

Good.

Sounds to me like this group should be courting JimRob and Rush!

IMHO, these are the men who know where the "rubber meets the road" - with their hands on the pulse of American conservatism.

pssss...ABC news and Marc J. Ambinder, the CNP fooled you. They are not powerful at all. They are a front group for the right wingers who really pull the strings. The secrecy of the CNP is designed to draw your attention to it and away from the true conservative powerbrokers.

Hey, here's a lofty goal for me to aspire to: membership in the CNP.

Has ABC done a lengthy expose on PAW? Perhaps we should help...ABC donated big $$$ to PAW, as did CNN, CBS, NBC. PAW, headed by Norman Lear, a far-left political action committee disguised as a non-profit 'constitutional protector'(LOL!), helps run the Senate with willing partners Daschle and Leahy, Clinton, Kennedy, and the usual far-left group. PAW claims to be a civil rights group, and actually has the nerve to call itself "People for the American Way", though they bussed in crowds to the anti-American, pro-Arafat rally in DC a few weeks back where all that made America great, from God, family, to the Constitional freedoms that PAW enjoys were roundly denounced...and anti-Semitism abounded.

After ABC does PAW, maybe they'll move onto investigating the DLC, Democratic Leadership Council....the group that takes credit for sending Clinton from Arkansas to the White House with its 5 tiers of corporate sponsors (depending on $$$ donations...Enron's in the second to top tier, no mention on ABC of this, either), and Bernie Schwartz of Loral and the giveaway of US tech. to China, one of the top $$$ donors. Other corporate members include Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, Coca Cola, etc. Gore was Pres. of this group, now Lieberman I think. Sen. John Edwards is also being groomed and supported here, with help also from the Trial Lawyers.

Ever hear of DLC? Wonder why? ABC?

"Obviously, membership would imply that there is a commonality, so that goes without saying," said Alvin Williams, CEO of a political action committee that promotes black conservatives. "I don't think it is anything threatening at all."

A bump for Project 21.

Whoops, Alvin Williams is BAMPAC, not Project 21. I thought they were one in the same.
