Saudi to Warn Bush of Rupture Over Israel Policy

These arrogant bastards can never figure out when they are in no position to threaten everybody.
Those who think it is "cute" to see a culture which seriously believes that they are superior to all others and the others are there to serve them, simply haven't got it yet.
Bluster and threats is a deep cultural Arab means of prevailing, with the implied threat of overwhelming military force.
Only problem is, this is not the 9th century, and "overwhelming military force" is just a distant memory for the followers of Mohammed.

Perhaps the Saudis can reflect on this and catch up on history when exiled in Geneva or Uganda.

They see the occupied area as their area, even though it is not autonomous.

They see the U.S. as "satan" too.
That ought to give you a clue as to their rational view of the world.
By the way, the "settlements" is not, by far, the bloodiest and most egregious violation of the Oslo Accord.
The Palestinians consistently rejected "their" homeland for 54 years.
They certainly have built up a model society out of it haven't they?

They can't have it both ways.

Hey, I agree with you. The leadership of the Palestinians is irrational and duplicitous, not to mention viciously murderous. The point, however, is to achieve some peace and safety for all in the area. Arafat told Geraldo that he regretted not taking Barak's offer two years ago. That is probably somewhat of a lie, how can anyone believe that guy? The only answer is two autonomous states. No more settlement incursions by the Israelis. Since the start of the intafada, Sharon started 30 more settlements. That has to stop. It is one hell of a mess.
