There's nothing the left does better than reverse tables and paint their opposition with the symbols and imagery used against them.Hate to say it, but you are probably right. It might be better to attack this from the angle of "how does the enviro stuff affect your job and you family."

The only thing that will take the sting out of the invasion of the greens is to bring the ESA up for a vote, in the Senate, and vote to not ratify it again. Until the voters wake up, and fire a bunch of green friendly Senators that is not going to happen. And your confidence in this happening would be.....?
You said yourself, "They have more money than we could possibly raise." No kidding. When an organization can dally-up $13 million to buy 800 acres and hold it until the government can acquire the money to buy it from them, we're not talking grass-roots anymore.
The ESA will be thirty next year. All indications are it will go on to live to a ripe, a very "ripe" old age.
