Americans have rights, too - a message that many have been trying to convey to the powers in Washington. The Endangered Species Act (ESA), created to protect endangered species - has for years eroded away another species from the land, Americans.
This attack on the fabric of America in left unchecked, threatens the security of this nation as a whole. From Klamath Falls to out southern border, the rights of hard working Americans are being ignored, as well as our national security being compromised.
But this Year - 2002, we will not wait for the next shoe to drop, or the next bad judgment against America. We have reached our limits and are at the crossroads. We are calling on all Americans who love their country to help fight back.
Sierra Times, in conjunction with KGEZ Z-600 The Edge, www.z600.com, Kalispell, Montana and other media outlet and land rights organizations are officially calling for a mass-action to demonstrate the plight of victims of the ESA. We are calling for a 4-day work stoppage immediately preceding and including EARTH DAY 2002.
(THURS-MON) Earth Day 2002 is Monday, April 22, the 32nd annual observance.
( April 18-22, 2002 ) OPERATION: RESTORE THE EAGLE (AMERICA 1ST CELEBRATION) - NATIONAL OBSERVANCE
This action will take place under the banner of the National Organization of Rural Americans (NORA). NORA will be organized for this one purpose and shall not be a 501-c3 or lobbying organization.
Our goal is simple and within the power of our Congress: to end the ESA and all laws, judicial orders associated with it. To restore productivity, self- sufficiency, return American lands to Americans. To end the obstructionist stranglehold (disguised the environmental regulations) on America, public schools, and our institutions. We are asking ordinary people doing extraordinary things. We, the rural citizens only seek equal opportunity and civil rights and the opportunity to pursue the American Dream.
We additionally seek safety of our nation. We call upon our government to immediately Secure our borders and evict all illegal, undocumented persons in America who have entered our country unlawfully or remained beyond permitted allotted time, regardless of race, color, nationality, country of origin, religion, political persuasion or creed.
Areas requested to participate: All the 2,434 Bush Counties won in the 2000 election. If only 50 independent truckers per county participate, it would equal 120,000. If in addition, Americans and the groups noted below, participate as requested, Congress will have to act.
We are calling on the following Americans to join us:
Truckers (including fuel haulers), Truck Brokers, truck stops, off road clubs, enthusiasts, snowmobilers, watercraft users, hunters, gun owners, fishermen, mountain bikers, off road motorcycles, ATV owners, 4x4 clubs and owners, farmers, ranchers, irrigators, domestic food producers, Meat processors, loggers, mill workers, miners, building contractors and subs, material suppliers, heavy equipment operators, Veterans of the Armed services to join in a 4-day, peaceful work stoppage. We also call on parents who care about this issue keep their children out of public school for the 4 days. We are calling upon all Americans who love their country and realize we are in peril and calling you to action.
April 18 - April 22, 2002 - a 4-day work stoppage across America.
We understand this is a tall order. But we also understand that building this nation was not easy, and saving it may be even more difficult. The war on the West began years ago, now war has been waged upon the sovereignty of American. When war has been declared, sacrifices must be made to ensure victory. Petitions town meetings Shovel and Bucket Brigades were helpful, but citizens are still being victimized by these unfair policies at an unprecedented rate.
Our vision is to bring this to the national debate once again in a bold fashion. Like our opponents, we call on those interested to "think globally, but act locally". We are calling for local volunteers to organize for this national event in their own areas. Work stopages are socialist in nature and in practice.
Better to use the system to outfox the leftist land grabbers. Use FOIA and lawsuit discovery process to uncover their illegal activities and policies. Even if the lawsuits are not sucessful in court, they can uncover embarrassing abuses of power that friendly media can shine a spotlight on.
When you give into emotional reactive ploys like this, you are already admitting defeat.
Keep a level head and think through a stategy that gains and leverages support of the American public, media and sympathetic officials that can assist in acheiving your goals.
Succeed anyway.
Perhaps then we can get them to stop infringing on property rights and actually enforce our immigration laws and defend our borders? Maybe suspend the H1-B program and all other immigration for a few years so that we can attempt to make English the most commonly spoken language in this country again? That's really not asking so much, is it? Is it?
And it will work....if enough people join in.

Environmentalism is just one of the misleading flags the enemies of this country fly under. Affirmative action is another, then feminism and other "minority" based programs, followed by welfare, then outcome based education and its offspring, open borders and zero qualifications to be voters, or for short - the Democrat platform.
We would be better off if we could get the government to take four days off.

I did not define what I though it is y'all might ask of the EPA IF you're successful in getting these people to the bargaining table.
So let's explore some strategies now, briefly, & I'll use some arbitrary numbers & analogies in an effort to convey the main point(s) &/or objectives I'd work towards if this were my direct, personal problem?
First off; we have some kind of creature found no where else on the planet living on your land; hereto we shall refer to said creature as a, "One-Toed Somersaulting Salamander;" ie, "OTSS."
As it stands now & from my [limited] understanding of the situation?
The EPA has said you cannot take needed water for your crops, because the OTSS will be endangered?
That right?
When y'all bought your land?
You did-so with the FULL understanding that water would be available to you for the express purpose of raising said crops, right?
Wasn't as-if y'all knew BEFORE hand the OTSS lived in this area, had personal grudges against the OTSS & as such set-out to destroy the creature & wipe it from the face of the Earth. Right?

See, it's just that you like to eat, raise your families, pay your taxes & bills...in short; pursue happiness as gaurenteed by our constitution, eh?

Well by-God it sounds to me like you're all victims, here; the farmers and the One-Toed Somersaulting Salamander.
Furthermore, it'd appear the EPA are the ones victimizing y'all. Yup, they sure are.
The EPA it appears, although noble in their cause & motive, has rendered your land useless by doing what they have in their effort to save the OTSS.
As such?
Y'all have sustained an egregious loss, through no fault of your own but rather, as a direct result of following the EPA's order(s).
Now...what to do? What'll make-good this wrong -- AND what can be done so Y'ALL might be helped to be good ecologically-minded citizens while preventing BOTH the OTSS and Y'ALL from becoming extinct? Hmmmm?
Let me suggest, as an example, what might do the trick while keeping in mind it will be YOU & your neighbors who make these decisions; I only serve to inspire y'all in a thought process which by the Grace of God will result in your becoming satisfied. Understand?
OK then...here's a potential, "settlement" you might present to the EPA:

1) The U.S. Government, (EPA et al) shall purchase the effected land(s) outright; paying two & one-half (2.5) times the previously assessed value, SINCE: Your land happens to be THE ONLY land whereby the precious, indespensible One-Toed Somersaulting Salamander happens to live per the determination of the United States EPA.
(~rather like being *lucky* & finding oil and/or gold on your land; don'tcha think? ;^))
-OR-
2) The U.S. Government (EPA, US Forest Service, BLM et al) shall present to prospective relocatees, their choice of government-held land(s): which are of equal value to be exchanged on a 3 (three) acre to 1 (one) acre basis & subject to your approval.
3) The U.S. Government (EPA) shall assume any & all costs associated with relocating to final destination following a satisfactory settlement & subject to your approval.
4) The U.S. Government (EPA) will upon relocation, provide to each relocated property owned access to low-cost loans administered by the SBA until said farms are returned to the same condition of productivity they were prior to relocation.
5) Where ever people(s) are located to: The U.S.Government (EPA et al) shall guarentee full and free supply of & access to any & all existing water sources, without exception, for the next 100 years following successful relocation.
Should the EPA in the future discover the existance of life falling under & protected by the, "Endangered Species Act" limiting and/or prohibiting full & complete access to existing water source(s) the Government shall assume all liability & costs associated with supplying relocatees ALL necessary water for their farming needs.

You must make it known to the EPA clowns you're prepared to go all the way to the SCOTUS with this matter; & if you do?
They're likely to lose which'll result in a, "dangerous precedent" to them (EPA's) & their interests/cause.
That they're going to be made to pay 10-fold; & lose some of their *power* insodoing!
*However* & only because y'all are such fair-minded peoples, THIS is the time for deal-making so pony-up.
That is the *message* these people must recieve; that they HAVE valid options other than court.

It's my contention many of the most radical enviro-whackos are filling the ranks of these low-paying government jobs, with a few having attained higher rankings within the EPA, BLM, USForset Service etc...
Add to that, Liberally-slanted 'Activist' Judges, declared socialists in congress ('rats, natch) & one begins to assemble the larger picture of precisely what these poor, mostly rural (politically unprotected *and* unconnected) peoples are up against.
These SOBs attempting this ripoff have plenty to lose alright & if we're lucky, they know damned well just how tenuous their position is, too.
The reality is, we've one hell of a lever & we'll bank on the fact they know it.

The damages sought wouldn't be the only thing persued, here.
Although, on behalf of these people takin' the screwin'?
Monetary compensation wouldn't hurt a bit...no, b4; part of what the(*sleeper*) enviro-whackos embedded deeply within the bureacracy (who're behind & causing all this insanity & grief?) have to risk will be new, clearly articulated and defined limits on just what this (& others, too) agency can actually do in these kind of circumstances.
Of particular import (to EVERY free citizen) will be, what & how far the government may go when dealing with a citizen's private property.
I've a notion the strategists would rather pay-off, than risk this case setting some precidents that'll have some mighty unintended consequences for them & their cause(s).

Have the railles at a ranges or other safe places across the country to have a day of protest & fun. And then ( here’s the good part ) have everyone shoot off there weapons in a SAFE manner AT THE SAME TIME. Use WWV, GPS or radio to coordinate the timing.
We started our history with the “ shot heard around the world “ Let’s go for the “ Shot heard across the country.” This could send several messages at once.. And with all the new people getting guns after the 911 event. Could also have firearm safety workshops, shooting safety, how to identify and hit your target. exc.
