Trump makes yet another idiotic unforced error. I don't know what he thinks that accomplished. This is not how an intelligent candidate campaigns. The mentally impaired Biden may have just picked up some Haley voters who were on the fence. He still has a better sense of what to say and not say than Trump. Of course the "Trump is always right" crowd will say how great Trump is for saying that.

Delaware WAS an open primary. And when the only primary you win is an open one in a liberal state, and you lose by 30+ all over the rest of the board, a lot of your voters are indeed from the other party. That’s not insulting.
I do think he could have been a bit pithier in his speech last night. But he seemed far from insulting.

Amazing thread. No one agrees with you. Not one. A FR record maybe.
It appears you made the unforced error in your assessment of what he said.

This is just Trump's style ... and clearly (and understandably) it doesn't appeal to everyone. But anyone who goes up against Trump certainly must know this ... and prepare for it. You know, like the adage: "If you can't stand the heat ......"
Cheers!

I guess Yahoo considers calling half her voters Democrats - an insult.

Whoa. Trump was right and I’d say half of her voters were most definitely democrats.
She won the bluest parts of the country. How is that so hard to believe?
Haley has been calling Trump braindead and mentally incapacitated, so his response here was actually quite kind.

“Radical left Democrats” is an insult? “MAGA Republican” isn’t an insult either IMHO

“Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls.”
How is that insult? It’s the truth.

I guess the truth is an insult to Haley and her few supporters.
To: lasereye
Trump's platform is completely the opposite of Haley's, who were always going to vote for Biden in the fall.
They have said as much when interviewed yesterday.

“Trump insults Nikki Haley and her voters”
only a “big deal” for all the anti-MAGA, anti-Trump pretend concern trolls at FR ... exit polls show that over half of nikki’s “voters” said they were going to vote for biden, whether nikki won or not ...

Most of the people who voted for Nikita are lifetime leftist democrats.
Trump won the 2020 election by a landslide. If you believe 80 million people legitimately voted for Biden, you are a fool or a troll.

Anyone not backing Trump is basically an enemy of this country.
Trump has all the right enemies, Haley had all the wrong friends.

Biden the great orator! The above was never true and certainly not true now.
Why not just share where on the doll Trump touched exactly?
To: lasereye
Months ago when it was obvious that Trump was going to be the the nominee, the rest of the field gracefully stepped aside except for showboat Nikki. What was her purpose in staying other then to insult Trump and the Republicans who supported him. Her biggest voting block were Dems who were voting in open primaries.
Considering all the resources that were wasted on her vanity campaign, Trump's post was a nothing-burger.
