Just one more reason why I refer to Islam as a cult not a real religion.
Something ‘beautiful’ with all the ‘ugly’ going on in this country & the world today. It’s the true story of a boy, Cody Dormer, born with a rare & severe genetic condition, who was supposed to die, but with loving parents, who did not give up on him, he is now 17 yo. On a Make A Wish trip a couple of years ago, he met a young colt & a special bond was formed at that meeting, so special in fact that the farm named the horse Cody’s Wish.
Cody’s Wish grew up to be a successful race horse & the bond with Cody remained. Their story spread & became something very special in the world of horse racing. Cody’s Wish ran in last year’s Breeders’ Cup & won The Dirt Mile race. The Breeders’ Cup is a premier event in the fall, with only the best horses of the year competing against each other. It’s a Big Deal to win a Breeders’ Cup race.

Cody’s Wish ran again at the Breeders’ Cup yesterday. It would be his last race before being retired to stud. Cody & his family were there to see him run. The announcers & handicappers all said if betting with their hearts, they would bet for Cody’s Wish, but as good as he was, he was running against a strong field that included National Treasure, the Preakness Winner. “Realistically”, they were giving other horses the nod to win.

To add to the drama, there was an ‘inquiry’ after the race, but the result stood. If you do nothing else with this post, watch the race replay.
The farm where Cody’s Wish will be retired is 20 minutes from Cody’s house & he has been told he is welcome to visit any time.
Amid all this Hamas news, let’s take pleasure that Judge Cannon has thrown a wrench into Hack Smith’s smearing of Trump regarding the Mara-lago docs case by delaying it, at least temporarily.
This case—initiated in Florida—was transferred to DC by Smith and the DoJ to secure a sure-thing conviction from a Trump hating DC jury. It was considered the most winnable of the 4 flimsy Trump cases and the most likely to be held, decided and publicized during the peak of the 2024 campaign. May>July>>>>>Nov....thus destroying Trump’s chances, so they hope.
This delay most likely moves this case into ‘25. Cannon reasoned that Trump can’t defend 4 cases at once. The DoJ has outsmarted itself....if that’s possible.
House must fight them on ALL issues: border, no Ukraine $, no $ for DOJ and FBI, no more wars, no acceptance of more “refugees”, no more taxes, no more spending unless “paid for”, do away with daylight savings time switch, audit fed and Ukraine $, fight Biden at every turn (because he is front man for the Devil, Obama, Soros, Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates, Big Tech Oligarchs, Blackwater, Deep State, and all their ilk and fellow travelers).

Maria now with pompeo talking about the border with 7 million illegals infiltrating the US. Pompeo now claiming each and every American is now threatened in the homeland. CHicoms working against the US and involved in most conflicts. Spokes people on the warroom this week telling Steve Bannon that up to a half million illegals will be crossing the border every month for the foreseeable future.
Pompeo says watch the chicoms actions. Never what they say. It's all what they do. Whether it's chinese infiltrating the US or fentanol sent to mexico,processed and then sent to the US.

You and I see Shannon differently. I’d ask you to see her as a basic unbiased reporter who must ask the uncomfortable questions. She did just that and Johnson answered each perfectly, with nary an interruption from Shannon.
The net result was the Speaker presented our side very clearly. The left would likely label her interview as “softball.”
I worked in journalism. My wife worked in journalism. Back then, examining both sides was a virtue.
She’s a devout Floridian. I have a hard time seeing her as gone over to the dark side.
And now we know this lawyer/now speaker worked constitutional law for many non-profits which explains his meager net worth.
Perhaps you saw how CNN altered the new story about the Jordanian dude who was planning mass casualties admittedly and specifically against Jews.
CNN’s headline was sanitized by replacing “Jews” with “people of another race.”

If it is overvalued, will Trump get his taxes he paid for on the property back as an adjustment? It isn't overvalued, a property nearby is on the market for the same price and it is smaller and NOT on the ocean.
A different announcer for the replay (video at bottom of article) & the video/discussion of the ‘inquiry’. National Treasure drifted out a couple of times & his jockey did not change whip hands to keep him off Cody’s Wish, plus the jockey had his elbow flying in close proximity to Alvarado (old time rough riding). As one analyst said, Alvarado’s reins were flopping all over - the heart/guts to fight for the win were all Cody’s Wish. What a relief to see “official” on the board!
Going back to the start of the race, Cody’s Wish got “pinched” coming out of the gate & was in fact dead last briefly. I love the pic of the two horses at the wire with CW’s nose in front, his face covered in mud/dirt from his run at dead last to the finish, while National Treasure, who ran first virtually the whole way, has a clean face.
