Joe Biden is just as clueless as they are.

Trump said nothing in the WH is what you think. DJT I think had to fight hard to get HIS policies enacted and that’s why they hate him - he really intended to be an actual President.

Alarming number of Americans believe Xiden is in charge, too.
People who know her, like her biographer, and other supposed insiders. I sure hope she doesn’t run because too many stupid people probably can’t wait to vote for the first back woman POTUS. I’d absolutely ridiculous.
I believe you are being too optimistic.
Obama was merely a younger and better-looking front man than Biden. He did what his handlers told him to do. To be sure, he was entirely supportive of their directions. But he was not calling the shots.
The boss of Joe Biden's handlers is the real President right now and was the real President during the Obama years. That person was appointed by the factions and is subject only to their approval.
The same faction that placed Obama in office was able to place Biden in office, hence the similarities (and some of the same White House staff) in those administrations.
The real shot-callers are not people whose names are commonly known to the public. This is by design.
They are not alone, even the President doesn’t know who the President is.
