Can’t happen to a nicer guy.
Most likely extremely lame. But they made the rules so…
Watch those old Carson clips with Dean!
left wing
Uh, Irish and alchohol. Their claims don't seem far-fetched. Speaking from experience.
"That's the curse of you people!"
We’ll, it never bothered Foster Brooks.
Lucky guy? Fox paid out after Guilfoyle was accused of harassing a female assistant. The assistant claimed she "was frequently required to work at Guilfoyle’s New York apartment while the Fox host displayed herself naked" and "was shown photographs of the genitalia of men with whom Guilfoyle had had sexual relations".
The draft complaint also alleged that "Guilfoyle spoke incessantly and luridly about her sex life, and on one occasion demanded a massage of her bare thighs".
When the network began looking into the allegations, Guilfoyle reportedly offered her assistant money to keep quiet and threatened her with retaliation if she spoke up.
These networks hire these people knowing they can blackmail them into doing and saying what the bosses want.
I’ve got an idea. They should hire Lee Marvin and Humphrey Bogart. Now those guys could drink. In view of their history, everyone else pales. So Fallon would be just another blink on the screen. Oh wait, their dead. Never mind.
Nah, Brits were the real drinkers: Richard Harris, Oliver Reed, Peter O’Toole, Richard Burton.
Well, since they are all dead, their salaries would be pretty low, so hire them all.
Or bipolar?
It’s genetic. It’s why I never drink a drop other than communion. Watched too many catastrophes among my uncles. To be fair, one of them was not Irish, but English. He could put it away with the rest of them.
“The former staffers who spoke to Rolling Stone requested anonymity out of fear of retaliation.”
...but the writers don’t consider that fear of retaliation may have inhibited supportive statements:
“Rolling Stone notes that none of the ex-showrunners contacted for the piece offered statements of support, and a statement from NBC didn’t even mention Fallon by name.”
Also...
“People wouldn’t joke around in the office, and they wouldn’t stand around and talk to each other. It was very much like, focus on whatever it is that you have to do because Jimmy’s in a bad mood, and if he sees that, he might fly off.”
Sounds like millennials bitching about a typical office environment.
