How about 1 am basketball? :)
Yet somehow it has been deemed racist to bring up such facts.
South and West sides; both are crime ridden by the 13%. Just sayin’.
Strategy focused on getting jobs for thousands of people in the most dangerous parts of Chicago.
They already have a job and they like it good pay a own hours no laws aka gangster.
This can lead to a new PR campaign: Visit Chicago, we didn’t murder 400 people last year.
“...providing millions of dollars for civilian violence-intervention programs...”
There it is. The mayor’s friends and family are thrilled.
Jobs? Your ass. Reparations dammit!
How did a fool and his money get together in the first place?
What will be funny is the blacks will say he is being racist for noticing the black murder rates of Chicongo.
“providing millions of dollars for civilian violence-intervention programs,”
THIS after one of the “peacekeeper” guys helped a mob of “teens” beat and rob a white man.
Because dumping money at the problem has always worked in the past.
> THERE ARE NO JOBS for those who have refused to attend school-—cannot read/write/speak decent English… <
I won’t argue against that. But this much is also true: There are no good jobs for the decent, average kids either. Not every kid is a future Elon Musk! I’m talking about the kids who don’t have the ability - or perhaps the drive - to become a nuclear engineer or a skilled carpenter. But they are willing to work.
And I’m not just guessing here. I was an inner-city high school teacher for decades. I know these kids.
50 years ago, there were plentry of jobs for those average kids. The mills were hiring. Join a labor gang there. The railroads were hiring. Join a labor gang there. Etc. And then work your way up. There were so many opportunities!
The mills and the railroads are all gone from my region now. So what can an average kid there do today? Get a part-time job at McDonalds, maybe. Then go stand on a street corner
Our country has abandoned those kids. But Trump offered them hope. Trump wanted to bring factories - and good jobs - back to America. It is a great tragedy that he was thwarted in this effort.
