Trump’s SCotUS nominees were the result of the Federalist Society and, ironically enough, Mitch McConnell. While he deserves a lot of credit for sticking by Kavannaugh, Trump probably would have put his sister up there if left to his own devices.

Because a lot of times by the time you go to court ... it takes so long to go to court to get the due process procedures. I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida; he had a lot of fires [and] they saw everything. To go to court would have taken a long time, so you could do exactly what you’re saying but take the guns first, go through due process second.”
After Florida passed a 6-week abortion limit, Trump said:
“Now DeSantis, or Ron DeSanctimonious as I call him, he came out with the six weeks. Other people agree with it. And a lot of people don’t,” Trump said in an interview with Newsmax. “We’re in a position now – and I’m going to be leading the charge – we’re in the position now where we can get something that the whole country can agree with, and that’s only because I got us out of the Roe v. Wade where the pro-life people had absolutely nothing to say.”
So, I believe what Trump says and that is why I cannot support him for the nomination.

We all know covid deaths were exaggerated in all states.
The numbers government gives you is flawed. Trump, DeSantis, and every politician did what they thought was right. The media wanted Trump out. They pumped up the fear campaign and a lot of people suffered died needlessly.
We can’t undo what was done by the media.

I believe Trump would make a better Prez than DeSantis but Trump with his caustic manners would probably not win in an honest election which the Demoncrats are probably not planning on participating in. In an honest election I believe DeSantis would win hands down.
