On a one fifth minority vote, MAGA Republicans in both Houses can at least constitutionally demand a recorded yes/no vote on ANYTHING to make it easier for patriots to decide who needs to be primaried in 2024.

If no “MAGA” Republicans from 2022 are wiling to demand yes/no vote for everything then they ALL get primaried in 2024.
I have said it once and I have said it again—WE NEED A NEW PARTY! GOP-RINO Party is now a branch of the Democrat-Progressive Party. We need a bold new party—a True Reform Party to shake things up. Not a Ross Perot ego trip but a Real Party to Replace the Vichy Republicans who are working with the Dems—the way The Vichy French worked with the Nazi Germans. If the Never Trumpers freeze out Donald J. Trump—and he goes this direction—I will follow him on the Bullmoose bid. Millions will join me too. This time we better be ready for the cheaters, the lies, the chants of “racist” and downright violence that will soak the streets with blood as the left calls out their Antifa Goons to silence Trump and his movement. It may well be a difficult year.

I like Scalise but anyone who thinks the RINOs will do anything for American is delusional. This is all deck chairs on the Titanic crap.
While I do like the ideas presented, I dont think it goes far enough. This is just election results / table tennis. They pass X, we repeal X and then pass Y and when they get in power it starts all over again.
Really want to shake things up? Pass the following constitutional amendments:
- Term limits (serve no more than 12 years in Senate and/or House)
- Congress not allowed to exempt itself from laws passed
- All Senators, Representatives and President are required to have an annual tax return audit
- Officers of the US are required, under penalty of perjury, to sign and vouch for the accuracy of all published “official” reports.
- Representative apportionment of federal spending. Federal spending is divided according to representatives and senators. Each state is taxed according to their representation in Congress.
- Repeal the 17th Amendment
- Allow state legislatures to recall Senators and Representatives.
I like my suggestions more.
- Laz picks every Senator.
- Laz picks every Congressman.
- Laz becomes the president, for life.
- Laz gets free gyro sandwiches.
- Everyone must dress up in the costumes of the Spartans in the movie 300.
- Laz is invited to Xerxes’ orgies.
- Crushed red pepper seasoning is free.
- Radar is invented, but sadly, not in time for World War II.

I think a form of “Officers of the US etc ...” law already exists.

Something that would be useful would be for them to pass a law that automatically ‘sunsets’ any law more than 20 years old.
Another is that every odd year congress can do nothing but repeal laws.
Yep. No chance to pass.
