Update on Russian military operations in Ukraine for December 12, 2022.

- Russia continues its war of attrition - focusing on exhausting and overwhelming critical Ukrainian defenses around Bakhmut in eastern Ukraine/western Russia;
- Despite claims that Russian missile stockpiles are depleted, Russia continues carrying out regular, large-scale missile barrages against Ukrainian infrastructure;

- Latest US assistance package for Ukraine continues the trend of dwindling, inadequate support for Ukraine;
- US government procurement numbers over the course of the next 2-5 years indicates that at no time in the near future will the US be capable of producing let alone supplying Ukraine with the number of weapons and ammunition it requires;
- While Russian production data is not available, the fact that Russia’s stockpiles and military were configured for large-scale protracted and intense combat suggests its military industrial output is likewise configured for such demands;
- The Western media is now admitting that Ukraine can neither win, nor is there any moral imperative to ensure that it does...

Cranked, your projections are indeed a dime a dozen but have always been wrong. That’s simply a fact.

If the Russians wanted to capture or take it, they already would have.

Oh, give it a break! The Russians have already shown to the world that they are not the supermen that you think they are.

“If it was fake, Russia would have won in 3 days.”

For the last 8 years Ukraine has been armed, fortified and trained to NATO (US) standards. Russia has refrained from US style “shock and awe” carpet bombing for weeks on end. That claim of yours is ridiculous and absurd.

It took ten times longer for mighty US led coalition to defeat the fierce forces on the tiny island of Grenada. Then turned around and awarded itself more medals than were involved in that heroic battle.

MEDALS OUTNUMBER G.I.’S IN GRENADA ASSAULT

https://www.nytimes.com/1984/03/30/world/medals-outnumber-gi-s-in-grenada-assault.html

“Army officials said today that about 50 of the achievement medals went to personnel who got no closer to the fighting than the Pentagon.”

“The Russians have already shown to the world that they are not the supermen that you think they are.”

Much like the US did in 19.5 years in Afghanistan fighting the longest war in US history against sheep and goat herders armed with AK-47s and rocket propelled grenade launchers.......

Move along troll.

“When in the history of war has attacking a city cost fewer casualties that holding it?

This war is much clearer if you know anything about military history and tactics.”

Worth repeating. People who still believe Russia is winning in Ukraine are most likely the same people still wearing masks.

—”BTW, the Moscow Times is a genuine opposition newspaper. Is the Russian press freer than the American press?”

The Moscow Times is published in Amsterdam.

Russia has laws against reporting on Special Operations.

In the US friends in high places call their fellow travelers in the MSM, twitter,CNN.. to correct as needed.

That’s because he is just spewing what his handlers provide him. The kid hasn’t an independent thought to call his own.

I’ve never denied that Ukraine is taking heavy casualties. They are.

They are fighting the Russians with old and outdated equipment with little airpower and armor. It’s the resolve to free their homeland that is the only reason they are winning.

That is why the whole world admires them.

Given the sheer and utter amount of propaganda you pro-Ukrainian peddlers have long been spewing within FR, you should be thankful your basement, apartment, cave has no mirrors in it, idiot.

I really have no idea. I was just proposing a plausible answer to the question of why the Ukrainians might want to hold on to their own country. I knew a couple of Ukrainians in college. They had been U.S. Marines. They were arrested prior to joining the Marines for throwing red paint at the Soviet Embassy to the UN. Have you ever spoken to Ukrainians about their incandescent hatred of Russia and Russians?

Uh, that would be the same Afghanistan that defeated the mighty USSR and sent it scurrying back home in shame with its tail between its legs.
