“ No Republican representative would dare commit political suicide by voting against Trump. Oh, how electing Trump as Speaker of the House would make those liberal heads explode!
Poor Kevin McCarthy. Poor Liz Cheney.”
***************************************************************

If the Republican caucus voted to advance President Trump as Speaker, the DemocRATS would advance Liz Chanel’s name. She would get ALL DemocRAT votes with zero defections. And less than a handful of Republicans WOULD DEFECT and vote for her yielding enough votes for her to win.

Take it to the bank!

The speaker of the house is the president of the house. I find it hard to believe that it’s a walk-in position. It’s like trying to figure out Robert’s Rules of Order and it might even be associated with that to some degree. Heck, there might even he some Freemasonry hullabaloo and ritual thrown in for old times sake.

That would shake things up—would it be good for the nation —yes, but Trump would never take the job. With the Senate in the Dems back pocket—Biden/Harris will never be impeached.

Hidenbiden and HyenaHarris are incompetent at best, criminal at worst.

And Speaker of the House is next in line after those two offices.

“Trump was a good president in some respects don’t get me wrong”

I got you wrong because you are, it was Pelosi that ruled with the “carrot and stick” approach except she forgot the carrot when dealing with her opposition.

Nobody could get more legislation passed than Trump when having to deal with a hostile congress and a do nothing senate.

As far as people skills tell us about Pelosi’s people skills because I would take Trumps skills in dealing with people any day.

On the “Build the wall” charge, did you expect President Trump to roll over various Federal Judges that put blockades.

Finally I believe you are attacking Trump with a bunch of excuses that don’t pass the smell test.

Of course its your right to express your point of view, no matter how warped it might be but please feel free to suggest whomever you think might do a better job than Trump.

A quote from a Bond movie is spot on, “Nobody does it better”

Nah. Sure they need someone who can raise money, but they also need someone who knows all the ins and outs of the swamp, which I don’t think Trump does. He got suckered big time while in the White House, and is definitely not an insider in Washington politics. We need someone who knows where the corruption is, and how it works, but who is immune to it. Sad to say, there aren’t many in Washington who can be described as such.

So he can set the agenda to investigate all the crap the Dems have been pulling. You know things like impeachment, J6, Mueller report, Nancy’s finances, Covid origin, Liz’s Daddys former bosses ties. It would be quite glorious. Maybe he can sit behind Biden during his SOTU and rip up his face mask.

Sweet. Biden kicks on 6 months, Harris is hated and Trump is then the defacto leader.

He just needs to know how to bang a gavel and rip up a copy of Bidens State of the Union speech.

LOL thank you for the amusing response. But you’re wrong. Trump can’t win in 2024—too many negatives, too many tantrums, too many people hate him (mainly women), he will only drag the Republicans down to defeat again. He couldn’t even beat a demented old Joe Biden in 2020. If there was fraud, he needed to gather attorneys and fight it in court. He couldn’t lead an effective response. He lost. He will lose again. 2022 midterms showed that. Time to face reality and move on to a better candidate. DeSantis is the Republicans best shot. Maybe Rubio and Ted Cruz will want to oppose him in the primaries. Trump should bow out, and stop causing a stink.
