Excellent post.

Trump makes fun of those who make stupid mistakes, and makes them sympathetic by doing so.

My only concern with the Donald is something he said about himself,

Donald's pastor was the famous Norman Vincent Peale "The Power of Positive Thinking", and this explains a lot.

Here is one quote from Pastor Peale:

Many of us have hearts that are so big that when it comes time to holding our enemies accountable, we spare them. Instead we should perhaps let history show the consequences of their crimes.

The Democrat Party was taken over from within by Godless individuals. We can call them Marxists, but truth be told they are Godless imbued with hate for us. How they become that way is a mystery. We can't understand it. We know Satanic Eugenics is part of it, as it has been throughout history.

Soviet defectors told us last century one of our political parties would be taken over. Now here we are. The Democrat Party is acting as an enemy of the United States. To be fair, some of the GOP are going along with it.

What these people have done, centering around November 2020, is a crime so deep and vast, that we are still trying to come to grips with it.

And it begs out for punishment that is so extensive and prolonged that we can never be the same as we were before. We can never be happy again while remembering what was done, we cannot be "positive" while our memories are occupied with the reality of what was done to us.

Soviet defectors also told us gender confusion would be a tactic for takeover, a demoralization of our culture, tearing down our pride in our history, designed to make us think, "How depraved, awful, perverted we are as a society. Our horrible country should be allowed to die."

Divide and conquer, we are pressured to become shameful, we must therefore give up.

Enter Donald Trump. He is our antidote to the poison we have been fooled into drinking. He has caused us to open our eyes, to see the reality. Our enemies hate him for doing this.

If we win tomorrow, and in the weeks after, we start a very long road of recovery. At some point, we will be confronted with the questions of what to do to the people of the groups that did this to us, that stole our voices, our elections, our health, our prosperity, our pride in country, and place in history?

Do we spare them? Do we try and find the life we had before?

Should we be so "big-hearted" that we let them off the hook?

Personally, my understanding of history, of leaving an imprint to future generations, is to go negative, to see gallows built in the thousands, where countless would hang. Such a vision would take years to play out. I would likely never smile again and thus, not be able to enjoy my American life.

So I'm tempted to let those involved in this intractable crime, just let them go, because I can't handle spending the remaining years of my life seeing them brought to justice.

Donald said previous generations were stronger than ours. I agree.

Decades ago, I once worked with a person who was more than 30 years older than me. He was a WWII Vet who had stormed one of the beaches at Normandy. I asked him, "What were you all thinking when you did that?" He said, "We were thinking we were dead already."

I'm not sure I'm as strong as he was, to confront death head-on.

But one thing that I am sure of, we have got to wake up yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and win and win big.

Here's what we're up against:

Show them no mercy. If we don’t, the will definitely show us none. People like this don’t stop trying to win, control, conquer, etc. They can not ever live and let live. They will seek to destroy us unless we destroy them. It’s a hard pill to swallow but that is the way it is. Accept it.

I understand Trump’s style but this was bad form, bad timing and completely unnecessary, especially on the eve of a critically important election.

Campaigns are blood sport. I get that, but the country is a train wreck and we are in desperate need of party unity at this time. Is it too much to ask him to dial it back just a little for the sake of the country?

But we can agree to disagree. Its all good.

By the way I spend a lot of time with waves at my feet. ;)

Allow yourself to be corrected.

You’ve allowed yourself to be distracted.
Stop letting that happen.

A Union Soldier shoots a confederate in a barn and ends up killing a milk cow.
People like you scream at the Soldier crying “we’re starving here and you’ve just destroyed dinner! Meanwhile, the confederate escapes.
Stop spreading your distraction.

Trump calls DeSantis DeSanctimonius after an awful commercial the DeSantis people put out, then Trump endorses DeSanctimonius for Governor of FL.
Thank President Trump and laugh a little, let your distraction tendency be numbed and your sense of humor flourish.

Now focus on talking with your County Sheriff and deputies, offer to volunteer in any way they have need for. Show them this:

Oh stop with the patronizing already. Do you realize how silly and pompous that sounds?

... It’s one thing to endorse a candidate who is going to win or lose anyway on his own merit, or having a close working relationship with someone in elected office who holds a position where you have to deal with him. The initial reporting from Baris involved conversations between Ryan, McCarthy, McConnell and DeSantis that were specifically aimed at undermining Trump in 2024.

This.

I do not see why the Trump zing was jumped on so readily by so many posters as being an insult.

Bad timing. Gratuitous. Too close to the election. Viewed as not helpful by many.

Lol, people afraid to speak up on an anonymous internet site, with minimal moderation? Are they also afraid to vote in private?

But, if, true, it explains a lot about the current state of the non-Trump GOP.

Trump violates Reagan’s 11th commandment, attacks Ron DeSantis: A big mistake that will have consequences

Trump threw that commandment out well before the 2016 election.
