Yep. I have mentioned this before. There are next to no opportunities for urban black kids just out of high school.
And that’s why Trump was the best friend blacks could have had in the White House. Trump wanted to bring industry back to America. There’d be good-paying factory jobs in the cities once again. Urban blacks would have benefited greatly from that.
Unfortunately, most urban blacks never heard about Trump’s plan. Their leaders and the media preferred to keep those folks poor, and on the Democrat plantation.

I’m sure it’s not just NYC, the same trend has been noted in Vancouver BC as one example. Homeless people on drugs carrying out random and unprovoked assaults in the downtown area (mainly). My theory is that it’s due to a change in the drugs they are consuming, inducing greater paranoia. It could be simply a case of the previous situation left untreated moving to a higher stage of mental trauma.
Another growing trend is that the homeless are being attacked by youth who are probably sick and tired of their presence. And a third related trend is the increase in vandalism attributed to the street people.
In both countries, we are going to face an inevitable choice, either abandon areas of the cities entirely, or bring back mental hospitals and forcible confinement of the mentally ill. So far the abandonment choice is winning out but as it is far from a complete abandonment we have this battleground and it will only grow worse over time as more become homeless and those who have been grow more schizophrenic.
The NY mayor should fill up the cruise ship he’s renting with violent criminals and empty the contents into shark-infested waters.
I experience assaults by groups of blacks in Pittsburgh decades ago. It happens across the country.

I’ve noticed the disrespectful driving. There has a been a shift in the culture since Covid and the BLM/Antifa riots. The other thing I’m noticing is obesity, even more of it than before which is really saying something. I don’t think I’m just imagining it.

For decades, blacks have been told that the reason their lives suck is because white people, as a class, have been deliberately doing evil to them.

The reverse is true. Employers bend over backward to meet quotas to hire black employees. Any black student can have their job lined up while still in high school IF they give a damn and hit even minimum standards.
If they haven't gotten their job lined up, it's time for them to change their mindset and go back to school to learn something.
