Adding 87,000 IRS employees to the existing 78,000 = 165,000 IRS employees. There are approximately 9,000,000 taxpayers who make $200k/year or more. These are the "rich." Let's say 25% (a healthy percentage) of those 9M cheat on their taxes enough to warrant investigation (that's not likely). The numbers look like this:

9M * 25% = 2.25M

2.25M/165,000 IRS employees = 1 IRS employee for every 14 taxpayers

And let's not forget that the IRS recently purchased 5,000,000 rounds of ammunition.

As the most powerful government organization with literally unlimited power to take everything you own and imprison you, this should scare the daylights out of everyone -
