The reconciliation package would also double the current IRS workforce by hiring an additional 87,000 employees to the bureau’s staff of 78,661 employees, a move that would make the IRS larger than the Pentagon, State Department, FBI and Border Patrol.
This is Obama’s Civilian National Security Force becoming reality.

Now you know why the IRS, and every other government department needs enough bullets to kill every American several times over.

They are going to be coming hard for small business types. Think about the tradesmen and people that do some of their work for cash.

We’ll need a hell of a log of “doxologists” so that we can know where they live. And then we wait.

Doubling the size of a Federal agency is a bit ambitious. Are there really 87,000 people that 1) want to work for the IRS and 2) can pass the training to be an IRS agent. I understand it’s a long, math heavy, difficult academy including time at FLETC.

I think the appeal will be to those true believers in big leftist government, and they will be glad to investigate grandma and grandpa because they think a few more tax dollars will save the mother earth....
The ranks will fill.

The underground economy has been there for a long time. It is huge. Politicians have been afraid to admit it exists let alone do anything about it. What we are about to experience is the result of our government continually kicking that can down the road and it ain’t gonna be pretty, folks.

Time for Americans to pay the fiddler. The freakin’ dempanic party is over. Eighty seven thousand RAT voters with the right to legally mug Americans and take your money away from your family. When the taxman is armed and you’re not, you know your ass is out there hangin’ in the breeze. The world almost came to an end a few years back when Arizona tried to arm its welfare fraud investigators. Now the RATS are doing it on the Federal level.

More political plum jobs for Dem party hacks to spy on ordinary Americans supporting MAGA and Trump. So much information must be disclosed through tax returns and other financial reports. No one will have any privacy with so many more prying eyes.

The RATS destroy the police force created to go after criminals in order to increase the number of “mass shootings” in America just in time for the midterms and create a police force to go after law abiding Americans to make sure American families are broke. Yup. We’ve become a Nazi state.

I agree. According to the DNC “media” toads, the people living here are eating this communist agenda up. I’ve come to the conclusion that sitting around all day staring at a cellphone rapidly destroys brains cells and turns people into drooling democrat idiots.

Doubtful this is ever going to happen. They couldn’t even get 18,000 new IRS employees previously.

"Are there really 87,000 people that 1) want to work for the IRS and 2) can pass the training to be an IRS agent. I understand it’s a long, math heavy, difficult academy including time at FLETC" Think affirmative action and math as being racist. The hiring standards and training requirements will be lessened.

All the retired police officers can get jobs at the IRS. And get to carry again.
