When I did my eurail trip many years ago now I heard a story from someone who had done the Trans Siberian and he said at one stop the police came aboard and dragged off some traveler who had the idea to smuggle in drugs from India. We both agreed we probably wouldn’t be hearing about him for a long long time.
She has more excuses than Jake Blues.

The good ole “I have no idea how the illegal drugs ended up in my bag” nonsense,
Fortunately, this is Russia not San Francisco. “She” is going to pay for her crime. A long hard stint in a very cold jail in Siberia will clarify "her" thinking.

This hopefully is yet another lesson to people, that if you break the laws of another country, you can’t just call the American embassy and have them fix things for you. You can’t just call Joe Biden and have him pull strings for you.
