The US military is full of incompetent leadership as the system is corrupt. For that reason, the demonstrated inutility of the US armed forces, it makes sense to completely disarm the US military and send such stocks of weapons and ammunition to those people willing and capable of using them.

The US has something like 4000 modern artillery systems, M777, M109, MLRS, Himars, and millions of rounds of stockpiled ammo for them, between active units, reserve and National Guard, and reserve stocks. All of them are useless and redundant to the US given the irremediable institutional weakness of the US military. Therefore all of these should be sent to Ukraine.

Other equipment and weapons should be sent immediately to such other countries for which they are relevant. The USN for instance should be immediately demobilized and all its ships and planes given to the nations of the Pacific rim. There will be no Taiwan problem, for instance, if the US were to give its nukes to Taiwan, Korea and Japan.

The consensus on FR seems to be that the US armed forces are 100% human garbage. Therefore it is not logical to assert that they should remain armed.

The entire American institutional system is hopelessly corrupt and malicious. The scale of this corruption makes any military or economic aid to Ukraine trivial.

How much do you think is being skimmed from, say, US medical spending, by, among other things, entities that have achieved “regulatory capture”, exploiting regulations to their benefit? We are talking here of a cashflow of Trillions. And thats just one. Ukraines US sourced cash flow is pocket change, for the petty grifter element.

Look at the whole of US society. The corruption is cosmic in scale, it is hard to grasp and put into perspective, just as the size of the galaxy stretches beyond our ability to appreciate.

Orcs in the Ukraine and, fittingly, trolls on FR.

That was good. Undeniably they are here on different topics.

Just pay attention to the map. You can say all you want but the map tells you everything.
The Ukes are retreating daily.......

History tells us that invasions, even if initially successful, don't always succeed. Napoleon's invasion of Russia failed. Hitler's invasion of the Soviet Union failed. Putin's invasion of Ukraine hangs in the balance after getting rolled back everywhere but the Southeast of Ukraine. Ukraine is getting better weapons supplied by the West, while Russia files barrages of dated Soviet era artillery depleting its arsenal. If the West continues to resupply Ukraine, time is the side of the Ukrainians.

Breaking news: biggest country in the world steals another Ukrainian village. LOL. Really, you’re going to have to do better than that. Meanwhile, Kyiv stands and Russia has lost “brother” Ukrainians. Forever.

Putin's war has pushed Ukraine back to alignment with Poland. This wasn't possible before Putin's aggression. The Poles were particularly offended by the Ukrainian nationalist's veneration of Bandera. That's now been forgotten since the Poles distrust the Russians more, and are taking the historic opportunity to remedy what wasn't done after WWI: separate Ukraine from Russia.

Putin had offered to partition Ukraine down the Dnieper with the Poles while Tusk was its PM, and they thought he was nuts. It appears likely that Russia, if it nets any territory from Ukraine, that it will be much less than that. Zbigniew Brzezinski correctly noted that without Ukraine, Russia is not an empire. This is a geopolitical loss for Russia, and a gain for Poland and the West. Poland and Ukraine now form a military alliance outside of NATO. Russia is being defanged and contained in Ukraine in a way that could easily extend to rolling back Russia's invasion of Georgia as well. Putin is losing, even if he steals some territory in the Donbas.

Ammunition depots and supply trucks. Destroy them and the army can’t get enough artillery rounds to grind meat successfully on a large scale. Then it is one-to-one.

Exactly, and the Russian troops don't want to fight and die for Putin's glory in Ukraine, while the Ukies are fighting to defend their homeland. Take away the long range artillery bombardments, and the Ukies have the advantage.

The number of pro-Russian posters on Free Republic turns my stomache. This is the last place I would have expected to see so many Putin defenders.

Putin has his troll farms for spreading disinformation. These people are paid to do this. It would be curious to know if they have a similar number of trolls posting on DU, but I don't visit that site. Last I visited DU, there was an effort to get Obama primaried in 2012, which failed...

Russia will take Silversk, if not already taken. Doesn’t matter, the Donbass is lost, just hope when Vlad is ready he doesn’t eat Odessa for lunch. The Ukies have lost 28 percent territory, the fabled Ukie “ counter offensive” just isn’t happening….and the corrupted little beggars claim of a one million man army is the Ukie war cheerleaders wet dream…patience, check back with us in August/ September to see if Odessa has been eaten ( many in the Duma) are calling for Katherine the Great’s city to be liberated).

Yes, DOS is finally urging US citizens to leave Ukraine, wonder why?

Let me guess, you have been double vaxed? Bought into Biden’s C flu hoax, now buying into his Ukie war hoax. Haven’t you realized that anything senile Joe pushes or supports is designed to weaken/ destroy the US?

Keep listening to the western MSM narrative, however I choose to evaluate both sides, don’t get sucked in, again.
