When he said he didn’t pull the trigger, just let go of the hammer (on a single action revolver), I immediately remembered he had given a few rants on gun control. He should have started with himself learning the simplest, and primary, things about a firearm. But then again, why would educating yourself about anything whatsoever matter to a puffy headed lib?

Its very hard for me to give Cher a pass good actress or not. Just pity her and Bette, while relieved that so many in our society are no longer putting celebrities like them on pedestals. Sadly, I believe Bette and Cher to neither possess common sense or good manners unless they read it from a script. Alec Baldwin is a different animal. He has evil behind his eyes. I agree. When he said in that interview he had “no guilt” over shooting that poor, woman it was beyond reproach.
I’ve been shooting about 40 years and even when I’ve put away my guns in the safe (emptying them first), when I remove them I CHECK AGAIN ANYWAY. It’s simply what you do! Firearm safety 101.
Even cleaning them...when they’re taken about...something about cleaning out the barrel and looking down it just totally give me the creeps. Guess it’s my inner alarm saying this is the wrong end to be peering down :)

This is not directed at the OP, but I really object to these cretins, like Midler, being described as “elites”. They are almost without exception normal people that over time simply became scumbags because they read somebody else’s words on camera. They are nobody’s and do not deserve my attention. Never.
Bette Midler had best stick to the things she might really know about. I am not a Democrat, but I think I could maybe vote for Joe Manchin. The man seems to have his head on straight in this regard.
