I hope that adults respond this time to any mayhem from Lefty insurrectionists with sufficient force so that Kyle Rittenhouse doesn’t have to intervene.

My theory is that the potential rioters never encounter conservative news. They have still not heard that Kyle shot only white guys. They are convinced that he is a white supremacist who shot blacks just because they were black.

As was evidenced in the trial, many of these people are career criminals, gang members or terrorists going town to town committing crimes at protests. Time to put a stop to that. Set some examples.
And if more die because they are shot whiling attacking people, too bad.
You know, I have always been fond of the phrase: “Fire for effect.”

When I lived in Prince George’s County in Maryland, I would get a notice every year, sometimes twice a year, although I was only selected once. I did ask one clerk there at the courthouse why I was getting jury pool letters so often. She looked around and told me that the number of people eligible to serve in PG County was much smaller than one would guess from the size of the population. PG is a minority/majority county.
Kind of interesting, how some people get summoned all the time, and other folks never. Just about every place I've ever lived, they claim they use the voter registration records, but there must be something more involved.
When I look back at all of the juries I've served on (criminal & civil), the amount of time I've committed adds up to, not days or even weeks, but literally months. My wife, on the other hand, who is also registered to vote, has never been called...

I live in a county with a small population and have received a jury notice on the average of once a year. I have ended up serving on three different juries over the years, one trial lasted almost two weeks. Yet other people I know have never been called. Go figure.
Cops better respond. Before hundreds more Rittenhouses do...
Really weird and light traffic patterns before and after the verdict today in the SF N Bay area.
My wife had an ultrasound foot appt in a city often not known for racial tolerance. It took about 35-40 minutes to drive there this morning. When traffic is normal, we count on an hour plus drive in the past 5 plus years.
Coming home, was about half an hour after the verdict, the traffic was even lighter than in a normal heavy traffic, Friday early afternoon.
Today, it was less than a 30 minute drive. I basically set our speed limit at 55 mph, and we a few other vehicles just zoomed along at 55. It has been a decade since we have seen traffic that light.
A friend in the East Bay was told by his boss to let their workers go home as soon as a verdict was ready. He let his workers go home at about 11:30 am, and he left a little later. He was home in about 30 minutes. This time of the year, he counts on an hour+ drive home on any Friday.
That is interesting, though it could be folks bailed for Thanksgiving.
My office gave no such offer to leave but they did cancel a late afternoon meeting.
So it’s entirely possible that instead of a “stay in place” order, the powers that be decided on a GTFO order!
Just an excuse by the feral thugs to break things and steal $hit.
