I am only worried about the provoked charge. That should not have been allowed. It is like in 2016 Trump rallies where Trump “provoked” the violence against Trump supporters. The right is getting pidgenhold for provoking just for showing up. Only the left has a right to protest or to speak.

There are woke pukes on juries, but they only might make up a portion of the box. When you trust your future on one man - the judge - you need to factor in how many woke judges are out there, judges that love to legislate from the bench and overrule sane laws.

The the prosecutor has only one person to convince. Now he has to convince 12.
I think it’s much more frequent, by many orders of magnitude, that a juror disqualifies themselves during deliberations than that any judge would abuse this power to influence the jury.

Maybe the procedure in Wisconsin some obscure law written without realizing the optics of having the defendant pick his executioners.
Agree in the case of this judge, but I believe they can’t switch to letting the judge decide now. On the other hand, in a trial in DC the defendant may be facing both a woke jury and judge.
I wish. I recall she was police and was standing with her riot gear on in a line of cops. It might have been in Portland.
The jurors who rightfully find Kyle Rittenhouse innocent stand to make a fortune suing the media outlets afterwards for the inevitable libel.

Not sure if the guard is from Illinois, but the vehicle is. Wasn’t the prosecutor concerned about people crossing state lines, carrying guns?
So...they call out the National Guard when they’re at risk but refused to call them out when the residents of Kenosha were at risk during the Democrat Party Riots of 2020.
In my opinion, it is exactly the opposite. The prosecutor desperately wants a hung jury so he can get another trial.
Remember, this is punishment by process. Another trial punishes Kyle severely, and means the prosecutor gets another swing at the ball.
The purpose is to punish Kyle, not see justice done.
If the purpose was to see justice done, no charges would ever have been made.
The prosecutor would love to see a hung jury. From his perspective, it is a significant win.
Don’t be surprised if there is a hung jury.
