I was sitting outside on a beautiful day this spring. The sun was shining and I had my mask in my purse. I saw a lady with a baby in an umbrella stroller and a toddler in her hand; all three had masks.
I stood up and said, “Ma’am, it’s really not necessary to wear the masks outside. The virus dies in the sunshine.”
You know what she said? “I know.”
Couldn’t believe that she would subject her little children to that cr*p.
We are creating a generation of people who will be afraid of their own shadow. We really do not know what we are doing and the consequences could be very bad down the line.

Yes, that’s something hardly anyone does. Esp. when out in public. All those things we touch...omg! I admit I’m washing my hands more now and I have gotten almost paranoid about washing EVERYTHING that anyone else touches. Bottle tops inside and out. Before I open cans, I wash the tops off to get that mouse turd or roach dropping/piss off. Just need to stop and think. It’s harder than I realized. Playing in mud is safer than using grocery products.
My daughter comes over and sets her purse down on the kitchen table.
How many places has that purse been on! I get that wet wash cloth at some grocery stores like Target and carry it around. Comes in handy to wipe off my hands. Kroger has not kept up with their cleanliness like Target has.

True. And they will never really understand how to read people’s faces. That’s an important social skill that we are denying our children.
I am currently watching “Angel,” a vampire story spinoff of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (at heart, even though I am 58, I am a gushing teenager. lol).
Anyway, I don’t know why but your post reminded me of that. Vampires can’t see a reflection. Because they are dead. Or the undead.

I couldn’t care less if someone is wearing a mask or not, as long as they leave me alone. And virtue-signaling things like wearing a badge saying that you’re vaccinated are annoying, but again, I don’t care, as long as you leave me and others alone.
