I’ve been the same gender since birth. Not hard, but when it is I use it on my spouse who is of the opposite gender (there’s only two) when she says OK.

Today we need to follow the money of those who deny the science.
“Syenz” is replacing real scientific research and teaching at an alarming rate. There is a very direct way to determine the gender of a person at just about any age, and that is to search the chromosome count of the body cells. Females have the chromosome pair XX, always, and males have a somewhat mismatched but still viable XY chromosome pair. It is in every cell of the body, and does not change over the span of the lifetime of the individual. This important distinction can, by manipulation of exogeneous hormones, be masked over, but the result is essentially a freemartin, an individual incapable of reproduction either as a male or female.
If the objective is to prevent reproduction, there are simpler and more acceptable medical procedures that can be utilized, with nearly 100% reliability, but that is a one-time decision in most instances.
I agree, the “biological reality” of sex is not determined at birth. Rather is is determined by the Merciful Lord God above at the instant of conception when the sperm penetrates the egg.
At that point your DNA is set to XX or XY, a determinate you’ll carry to your grave.
