Merriam Webster would disagree with you. The Harris v. Pennsylvania was on the docket and it got dismissed yesterday without a hearing, without oral argument, or anything like that. Just because the court is looking at it, and in the Texas case they automatically look at it, doesn't mean it can't be summarily dismissed. Only time will tell.

This court will find a way to side with Texas without overturning the election..... If they can contort themselves into a solution like that I'll be very impressed.

I pray the Supreme Court will step up and take care of this, for we are headed to Civil War if justice is denied. There is just too much in your face stuff going on and way too many people sticking their fingers in the air to see which side is winning. That is why we have had a nation of laws that worked for over 200 years. Now, it is beginning to look like this widespread, technological cheating may have been going on in America for a long time. Do we have any statesmen who are not running and hiding? Where are the legislatures? This must stop. Our people are suffering with COVID19 while other more common diseases are also affecting families and the unfeeling Godless media, and the young, wealthiest of all people, the technology owners, feel immortal, and, therefore, entitled to own our nation, its people, and indeed, the world. I pray everyday that the true God will make His move and prove to all of us that we are made of clay and to clay we shall return. After that, some believe we have two places we will go, one Heaven, and one Hell. Right now, many understand that this nation is not deserving of the blessings we have had, because we have not handled our freedoms wisely, in that we have not had the wisdom to protect them from the gangs and thieves. We have a Supreme Court left and I pray they will not shirk their responsibility.

I’m not sure whether the Court has to hear the case; just because it’s on the docket doesn’t mean anything. We have a big problem in this country if it doesn’t.
But, if it doesn’t “punt” by not hearing the case, it will “punt” by throwing it back to some other body to decide. Seems the Court much prefers softball social issues over governing issues and matters of tyranny.

The Court has to look at something that has been filed with it...and this case was filed.
That alone means nothing.

It’s on the docket because there was a filing they have to make a decision on. That alone means nothing.

IMO the only pivotal factor here is whether the Supreme Court has the will to rule favorably on this case. They are just people. They may be afraid for their lives and their families. As far as the case itself goes it appears to be fairly self evident.

7 other states have joined Texas. All southern except for South Dakota. That certainly lends weight to the suit.

Should Trump fail in the courts he must uphold his oath to defend the Constitution and declare Marshal Law and arrest the traitors and hang them after convection.
