I’ve tried doing it with a tomato-based bbq (put the cole slaw on the sammich) but it’s just not the same.
Most places around here in Middle TN are tomato-based sauce, but there’s one family place with 2-3 locations that do it ‘right’. Unfortunately, none are located around where I currently live. Thank goodness for Mission BBQ, which carries Carolina Vinegar sauce and does NC Style pulled pork sandwiches!
