The senior adviser to the president told Real Clear Politics her view on abortion has changed since her father’s first run for office in 2016.
Four years ago, Ivanka Trump didn’t take a stand on the galvanizing issue. And after President Trump took office, in 2017, she even met secretly with then-Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards. At the time, she said she wanted to know more about the organization.
Now, she said, her viewpoint is clear.
“I respect all sides of a very personal and sensitive discussion,” Ivanka Trump said, “but I am also a mother of three children, and parenthood affected me in a profound way in terms of how I think about these things.”
For the first time, she stated publicly: “I am pro-life, and unapologetically so.”

For me the best person does not have a questionable personal background. There are thousands to choose from.
We’ve been called Hitler all our lives. The point is they struggle when they can’t find a real sin to hang on. They couldn’t do it with Reagan, e.g., and ultimately everyone knew it was stupid trying to. Everyone gets called Hitler. It’s not new and it’s just an attack on our politics.

Ivanka ain’t going to SCOTUS or to head HHS. If she declares that she’s pro-life now and if she speaks out against the RATS’ position on abortion and funding thereof, then that’s a big win for us. I’m not going to look at that gift horse in the mouth.
I don’t know whether Ivanka truly had a conversion on the abortion issue, but I must say that her explanation (that she’s carried and given birth to three children and that it has changed her views of what fetuses are) rings true. The greatest tool at our disposal for converting people to the protection of the unborn—apart from prayer and intercession from the Holy Spirit—is the ubiquity of ultrasound testing. It would take a heart of stone, or deep delusion, for a parent who watches his or her child moving around in the womb—and, even earlier in the pregnancy, watches his heart beat—not to recognize that they are in the presence of a human being that they helped to create. So it would not surprise me at all if Ivanka had a change of heart for the reasons that she described.

Not sure but I’m pretty sure Ivanka is mostly liberal. I’d be afraid of her as POTUS unless she has a total awakening - but becoming pro-life is certainly a good start.

You said you didn’t want to hear cries from the libs. That was your argument against another Trump and against the current Trump who you think has a questionable personal background apparently. You need to rethink this. As for Reagan, I remember Ronald and Nancy being personally insulted every single day by democrats. Trump is the only Republican finally fighting back.

Trump does have a less than perfect past.
As stated every Republican is insulted constantly, esp. the Hitler epithets, but they don’t stick with those of higher standards. You couldn’t accuse Reagan of screwing around and be taken seriously.

You are absolutely right,Donny dumped his wife, the mother of his 5 children under the age of 10, and less than a month later was seen with that skanky, slutty ex-wife of former San Fran mayor and now Gov, New some white. She travels with him everywhere and the party gives her speaking time and treats her like family. Donny HATES his children, has no discernment and is completely too stupid to be president.
