@%^&^^%$@%^%#^^@ I just went out to check my mail. Someone hit the mailbox and it is flattened!! Snapped the post off at ground level and the little flower box to the back is in pieces out on the lawn. Great! Just great!! Just what I need right now.

We’re cool and soggy here after some much-needed rain. We didn’t get as much as predicted but enough to do some good.

What kind of mischief did you and Gizmo get into yesterday? :-)

Yes, we got a decent amount of rain yesterday and a little more today. Plants are happy again, especially the ragweed. ah-CHOO!!!!! Hubby and I are having a terrible time and poor Bella, with her asthma, is too. Had to take her in for a shot this afternoon.

Are you freakin’ kidding??????? Someone trashed your mailbox????? That sux big time!!!! It would have been nice if someone had seen it happen and told you. GRRRRRRRR!!!!

Fortunately the wind has calmed down here as well. Now my lawns are almost completely covered in leaves. Where’s the wind when I need it?

Now you have to concentrate on keeping warm.

I am not happy. I will try to catch the mailman tomorrow and see if he will honk when he arrives and I will come right out. If not, no mail til I can get a replacement.

If I’m paying attention I can hear him coming and he’s on the other side of the cul-de-sac. Then I can get down the stairs and out to the curb by the time he gets to my house. A lot of “ifs” in there, especially since he doesn’t come at the same time every day and I don’t move very fast.

Poor all of you. Hope Bella feels better, too.

Well, there were quite a few people out there yesterday but we did get to hang out in a few of the usual spots.

I’d hazard a guess that “I’m not happy” is an understatement. I’m still trying to figure out how it happened. Your neighbors’ driveways aren’t situated where they’d hit it backing out, unless one of them was reeeeeeally drunk.

I hope you can catch the mailman tomorrow and work out something so you can get your mail until you get a new mailbox.

We’ll survive the ragweed. We always do. But it sure is the pits dealing with it while it’s here. It wasn’t TOO bad until it rained yesterday. Now that those darn weeds have gotten a drink, they’re really putting out the pollen.
